probably will legalize abortion
what's on the ballot is an amendment that, if passed (needs a +60% majority) removes the ability to regulate or restrict abortion
current law is... I think 6 weeks? and minors need parental consent, also various hygiene and stuff
iirc this would still allow parental _notification_ but not the ability to intervene, and depending on who you ask would eliminate most state regulatory oversight about anything beyond basic building code type stuff

It’s actually allegedly in ruin just because instead of long term investment, policy and ideals - Americans just vote via race and who gets more gibs once elected.

I counter this argument though because go to any black hood and niggers are finally starting to notice that after thirty fucking years, democrats ain’t give them shit and all the black local election leaders keep stealing all their shit in insane corruption while making communities worse. I think the future will be bright.
It has a name: the Two Santas. Team Blue votes for mo' money fo' dem programs, and Team Red votes for mo' money fo' dem soshul security and mo' tax cuts. Neither can enact austerity into the system because people vote with their wallets and if you take away dey WIC dey ain't finna vote fo' yo' no mo'.

What you end up with is a country that has no real long-term strategy for debt management, ballooning budgets for all forms of welfare, and zero ability to enact austerity because half the country is a bunch of fat spics and nigs that don't do anything but suck up social resources.

This is the best way to conceptualize this:

6.1tn out, 4.4tn in. The entirety of that extra 1.7tn spending is in SS/Medicare/Medicaid (1.3 + .83 + .66 = 2.79bn). You cut those, you have a surplus of over $1T a year. But nobody can do it. But nobody can do it. If there was a dictator who could simply amputate those branches of the government, you would have affordable healthcare, a glut of workers, and the illegal immigrants would flee the country by about a million a month forever.

(P.S. The IRS by itself is the largest Department of Treasury spending item aside from interest payments and is about 1/6th the entire US annual income, meaning that 15 cents of every dollar everyone pays in taxes goes to the privilege of being taxed, the remainder is spent, and then the government takes a loan out of 40 cents on that dollar to pay for spicnig healthcare).

There wouldn't be a civil war even if the Dems just came completely kippah off and declared no elections ever again. The average conservative gun owner just doesn't have the balls to fire on US military personnel when it comes down to it. He might talk a big game, but he knows, if he does it, he is going to die.

No, I agree with Null too. Voting is a gay and retarded humiliation ritual. If it changed anything, it would be illegal. The 2016 Trump win was a fluke. We've seen 2020 blatantly rigged. We've seen 2022 blatantly rigged. We've seen 2018 marginally rigged. We've seen special elections blatantly rigged. The only reason I encourage voting at all is because the alternative is political violence and civil war. I want neither of those to happen and the peaceful attempts at changing the system from within should always be tried. 2024 is proving the system is not infallible and they'll have to turn on pressure relief valves regardless of whether they want to or not. Klaus Schwab begged them to do this and be careful, they did not do this.

However, it really seems like people are at the end of their fucking rope. Cheating again might lead too boogaloos from people who have had fucking enough. That's why they've DEI'd our military and forced everyone who didn't submit to retire or quit. They want a DEI military that won't turn on them when they rig the elections harder. They've been war gaming these scenarios for a long time now. So even if I think voting is fake n gay, it's important to at least attempt it. If Kamala wins, I really think you will see some political violence in the near future. Maybe not tomorrow, but by 2028, I think Civil War might actually be on the table.

You can hand me my Tim Pool beanie now.
Something I really hate is how people refuse to vote but then do nothing else to change the country. That’s my big problem. But yeah I do agree that voting is rigged to hell, but I still vote because I lose nothing except 30 minutes of my time when I go to vote. As I said, best to try even if it’s hopeless.

If someone runs for political office or decides to be a revolutionary or something and doesn’t vote, that’s fine by me. I just hate these sorry faggots who complain about how shit everything is but don’t do anything about it.

We're hoping for a counter-revolution, not an October one
The Portuguese carnation revolution was pretty based. Country went too far to the right but once the commies got their chance to run it, everyone collectively decided over a weekend that commies are stupid too and the politics went from extreme to moderate in record time.

They quickly realized they were starting to behave like Spain next door and cut that shit out.

Do you agree in principle the idea of Elon going in and cutting a lot of the federal branches? Cartoonish rhetoric and realism aside.

I watch the US election like a sporting event. Tuning in to election coverage and eating pizza.

It was before your time, but we once had a dedicated board for mining salt. It was glorious.
I still miss it.
Tell me more of the ancient times village elder! Was it like how they said? That salt would rain from the skies in bountiful harvest?

Real talk: what happened to it? I'm guessing it caused to much polarization in the forums?

What you believe is literally a post facto justification of Aijit-Pajeet-Shit-in-the-Street's appointment and subsequent buffoonish behavior.

The people who are against NN make my blood boil. You have no idea. You don't even have a fucking clue what you're talking about. You are actively rooting against everything good and holy and you don't even realize it because Orange Man not just good, Orange Man infallible, and if Orange Man's Pajeet said it was good, it must be good.
Can we acknowledge that we don't have a Net Neutrality problem but a Pajeet Problem?
TPD fixes this btw

Dumb fucks: if you don't actually think it's going to happen, don't put money on it.
If the odds are actually "50/50" and the betting markets reflect a a vastly different number, you may as well vote on the option that has a lower odds of winning. It's easy money if she wins!

That being said I cast my vote for Jill Stein today, may the best one win!

This is going to be unpopular to say but the smartest thing the republicans can do once in power if they do win is to make abortion in the case of rape and medical complication federally legal. Or to convince every red state to enact that law, you do that and you completely kick the legs out from under the " reproductive rights" push which is 80% of the democrats momentum.

It's politically smart and it's common sense and perfectly reasonable. You do that while making a big stink about the democrats voting explicitly to keep illegal immigrant sex criminals and rapists and their lead with women will crumble immediately. You don't have to accept or make a deal with the craziest and depraved abortionists you just have to rob them of popular support by making the most reasonable concession humanly possible "we will make it illegal to force a woman to carry a dead baby or to die on the table"

The rape thing is a little more up for debate because you can easily make a "sins of the father" argument but that's an extremely poor hill to die on.
The you're gonna end up with what Israel has where almost every abortion is approved because "the pregnancy brings distress to the mother (thus harms the mother)". Just make it legal, people were getting illegal abortions before and they won't stop now. The only difference is there will be fewer dead women.

I hate how Republicans are all for "no government" except for one thing where they really want the feds to invade your private life.

"Moon, what moon?" I say to myself, not understanding context clues and putting together the Legend of Zelda references that have been made in the thread for the past fourteen hours. I check the top of the website.

"Hi, how are ya'?"

The fucking laugh I just let out was so mirthful, you guys.
I wonder if the moon will get bigger and bigger throughout the day, so by night time phonefags will have to use a desktop.

The way they’re going to do it is to look at updated actuarial tables and adjust the retirement age to where most people will be dead. That’s why the age goes up.

That we still have massive problems is because the left is trying to do what you’re advocating for; they’re trying to break the system so they can replace it.

Classic pork barrel politics isn’t enough; we have to open the borders and put all the illegals in hotels, give them phones and debit cards
