This is why I have some ember of hope. Repubs weren't pushing "get out and vote" this hard last time. There wasn't energy or enthusiasm last time, only cope and denial.

The problem with that is that Connery played Bond a certain way - a devil-may-care playboy with plot-armor intelligence - that didn't fit with the tone of OHMSS...
It worked the way it did primarily because Lazenby didn't just attempt to imitate Connery's interpretation and made you believe his ham-and-egger Bond who worked for every bit of it could be both serious and monogamous.
Contrast that with Connery's bond attempting to "avenge" Tracy at the beginning of Diamonds Are Forever and promptly forgetting her to put the pipe to Plenty O'Toole and Tiffany Case. Hell, Moore leaving flowers at her grave in For Your Eyes Only could have you believing that he was the same character and that the whole affair had only been months in the past - at least until the shtick kicked into high gear with fake Blofeld moments later.

I am so shook. I live in a heavily liberal area. HR sent out a notice that everyone can get paid leave to go vote (local law) and now it turns out all of my subordinates were waiting until election day to vote!

They're hedging their bests really hard, 50-50 but 0.00001% leaning towards Harris is the safest prediction they can make it. Either Harris wins and they claim they predicted that, or Trump wins and they emphasize it was 50-50. Either way they suck

Poso is a hack.
As much as I want Trump to win, I also trust the ability of dems to make up the difference in votes by cheating. If establishment didn't have a raging hate boner for Trump, and elections were actually fair, he would've won in 2020.
Hopefully a lot more people are aware of the state their country is in to make it impossible to skew votes in favor of Kamala. Because I don't believe for a moment that even 40% of Americans would actually vote for that witch.

Black voter turnout is going to be a LOT lower then they think. Especially in urban areas like Philly, B-More and St. Louis. There's a whole lotta black men, (including some I know personally) who would never vote for a corrupt prosecutor who kept black men incarcerated past their sentences so she could use them for prison labor.
