I was literally JUST going to bring up Pelosi and say something similar. I think you're onto something here.

She has been oddly quiet since Kamala took the nomination. She's done a few media interviews, but it's all been alcohol and botox-addled TDS nonsense ... And when she has spoken about Kamala, it hasn't been that flattering.

In 2020, she was all over the media, confidently and smugly saying that "Joe WILL win." Not seeing that this time around at all, and I think that means something.

I don't think it's a coincidence that so many up and coming Democrat "rising stars" like Newsom have mostly avoided being a part of the Harris campaign, too. Walz got the job as Kamala's running mate because it seems that most others in the party didn't want it.

I don't know ... Call me an optimist, but the vibes and the energy surrounding this election just FEEL different. Even among lefties that I know IRL, the topic of politics has been extremely tame compared to other years. My husband still has Facebook, and it's literally only the lefty Boomers who are still screeching about Trump ... But the same liberal millennials who were so gung-ho 4 years ago about covid and BLM have pretty much all shut up about politics for the most part.

correction, 10 million people were apprehended and sent back from fall of 2020 to summer of 2024 , not let in, and the people who slipped by (gotaways) numbered about 1.5 million, I just read the article you sent me.

Still though, both sides can agree that illegal immigration is a problem in this country, and has provably and statistically gotten worse under the Biden administration.

It's essentially the only issue I actually agree with Trump here.

My understanding of the situation is that a seller blackmailed Ross and threatened to leak buyer information from Silk Road if Ross didn’t pay his partner enough money to settle a debt with their dealer. Through a convoluted series of PMs, Ross got in touch with the dealer directly and paid for a hit on the guy who was blackmailing him to make the problem go away. Ultimately the dealer, the partner, and the blackmailer were all the same scammer who got a few million worth of bitcoin out of Ross. Garden variety drug dealer shit I guess.

For some reason, it never dawned on me until just now that rural voters need to make a greater effort if they want to vote. I forget that a lot of these people live a not-insignificant drive from the closest polling place or even their post office if they're doing mail-in. These early voting efforts probably motivated a lot of people who are iffy on turning out on election day.
 
I see that a ton of Etsy shops are selling "Justice for Peanut" shirts. Wish I could have one in time for Election Day.

But, that said, are there any Peanut merch places who plan to move at least some of their profits towards the lawsuit against NY?

He's a fighter, that much is clear and that much is what we need. Since that fateful day, I've been impressed by how the campaign has transformed and forged strong alliances with some of the most brilliant minds in our nation. He's not perfect, but no one in politics ever is or will be.

Free speech is on the ballot.

Kamala Harris has stressed the importance of combating online "hate speech and disinformation." She has urged social media companies to take more responsibility for moderating content on their platforms and investing in more effective content moderation systems. Tim Walz has proposed stricter regulation of social media platforms and collaboration between tech companies and government agencies to identify and counter "dangerous" online content. These policies contradict the principles Gab holds dear. If they win, make no mistake about it they are coming after free speech and by default, Gab is a top target.

The single most crucial matter in this election cycle is the invasion of our southern border.

If millions of people continue to enter our country unchecked, we risk losing our nation in the near future. I know I'm not alone in noticing that the place I grew up in and call home now looks like a third-world country and it's only continuing to get worse by the day. Mass deportations are a central aspect of President Trump's platform and the only viable solution to this problem.

This goes beyond politics; it's about the survival of our nation. God is in control, that's undoubtedly true, still, we must acknowledge that God has granted us agency: the power to act and make choices.

Far too many Christians, and men in particular, abstain from voting and then complain about the deteriorating situation in our country and culture. There's no excuse this time. We must take action by voting and making our voices heard before the Democrats seize unilateral control of our country through the border invasion.

So get up off the couch and go out and vote for Donald Trump.

Motivate everyone you know to do the same.

Let us stand united, let us stand strong, and let us secure a future for our children and grandchildren.
