I think they both have their strengths and weaknesses. I wouldn't say I like Vance better than Trump for that reason.
My hope is that Trump will teach him the art of the deal and the skill needed to be president, what to watch out for, the snakes in DC, all of it.
I don't think Vance has the experience to know that stuff, especially diplomacy and trade deals.
They make a good team. Hopefully Vance will learn a lot and be ready for 2028. I don't think he is yet and not because he's bad. He just needs tutoring.

Vance seems like the type that would be a quick study, and I sure hope trump is around to give vance guidance if needed after his next term.

From what I've heard other people say who know him and have worked with him, Vance is legitimately extremely intelligent. So I don't doubt that.

In the topic of chances, I’ve never in my adult life seen a Republican ahead in the polls, nor have an early voting advantage. I don’t know what to make of it. It’s uncharted territory.

Edit: What I can say is what the Kamalaaaa supporters are saying sounds and feels a lot like the cope I heard in 2008, 2012, and a little in 2020. “She’s not THAT behind in the polls, the real voters will turn out on Election Day just for her, etc etc.” The frustration with the candidate/surrogates, finger pointing, constantly changing angles of attack, and perpetually being on the defense comes off like they’re extremely worried and subconsciously know they’re losing. I felt the way they felt in 08/2012 and look how that turned out.
