Agreed, I thought he had a good chance in 2016 and that he had no chance in 2020. I think due to his actions the last few months he has a shot now. However, I think this election will come down to if Trump's campaign and/or Theil's network has a physical ground game or not. Aka guarding ballot boxes, agents at major voting areas, etc.

I thought he was going to win in 2016, I had a bad feeling in 2020 due to all the mail in ballots, and right now I'm more confident that I was in 2016. I just feel he is stronger than he has ever been and Kamala is weaker with nearly every demographic compared to Biden in 2020. I think the Energy is electric, even going outside I see regular people who I thought were apolitical/democrats saying that they will be voting for Trump. It’s actually quite shocking, people are openly wearing their MAGA hats near where I live. Something I hadn’t seen since 2016

I think the other thing that helps is that Covid isn’t happening and I think that made people mad at Trump but then they got four years of one of the worst presidency’s in recent history.

In WA and OR, there is no other way to vote. You either put it in a drop box, or hand it over to the USPS. There are in-person vote centers, but there are very few of them and meant for old or disabled people.

Of course they’d do it like that- it makes absolutely no fucking sense.

There was a lot of circling the wagons in 2020, and people who raised concerns got downvoted heavily. One of the mods kept people fed with hopium, then quit his free job once it was clear he was making stuff up to make it seem like Trump still had a chance.

He's up on the betting sites, there's way more noticing than ever before and people are watching for fraud like hawks, he's doing better polling wise than ever, he's absolutely crushing it in early voting by party registration, and Kamala continues to be a damn clown. Hell even random people's TDS is being cured, somehow. If the trend of the degree and direction polling has been off by even remotely comes close to being true for this election, he easily wins. If the ratio of early voting/election day voting even comes close to levels from previous elections, he wins it easily. Tech is already sucking up to him, and Kamala is pulling ads out of NC and trying to fortify fucking VA. I see no cause for alarm.

Sloppy shit, but no guarantee anyone can or will do anything with it, and it's being resolved anyways just in case. I think it's jumping at shadows. There’s a lot of ways to crack a password. If it’s not complex and any portion of the scheme is given then you’re basically giving someone a recipe to generate a valid password in a table they can run through to crack the machine.

this is the dumbest argument. it's a byproduct of the fact that every ballot in milwaukee got turned in at the same time. if you look at the actual line, the red line jumped when the milwaukee ballots were turned in as well - it just jumped less, because milwaukee is a nigger filled hellhole

Was it that big a circlejerk though? There was a lot of coping and straw grasping even before the 4AM ballot dumps with a few right-wing pundits and commentators also warning ahead of time to expect trouble. A lot of the issues plaguing 2020 aren't present this time or not present to the same degree which IMO affords a stronger measure of confidence. Still shouldn't get complacent, but there's a reason to feel optimistic this time.
