I remember in 2016 when everyone was saying Trump had a less than 1% chance of winning; and then he won.
The worst part is, even after this election, I do not see the Democrats admitting that their current push towards European-style social democracy and academic leftism has been a total failure. Their party is too embedded with Marxists at this point, who will burn the whole thing down before admitting defeat.
If this election is as much of a blowout as it seems to be, and the Democrats decide to clean house, there will be signs: certain members of the party losing committee assignments, certain party members having access revoked, and things generally being done to prevent some psycho from executing a massive leak out of spite.

Indians get memed on a lot but it's hard to truly fathom just how fucking insufferable and incompetent they are unless you've had the misfortune of working with them. Indian men in particular are some of the most unpleasant, obnoxious assholes I've had to deal with. The women usually aren't as bad - not particularly competent, but they're generally more soft-spoken and less shitty than the men are. At least in my experience.

I don't think the Dems have a choice but to clean house. It's clear to me at least, looking at every bit of data set available, that America is not ready to become Europe. They are about to lose hard. A reset in politics is in order if they wish to stay a national power. It will be a long drawn out process to get rid of the marxists. But they MUST if they wish to win the next cycle. We are looking at a blow our right now nor seen since 1984.

The left really needs their own Trump. Someone from outside the existing corrupt system who swings in representing what the less insane lefties want, in such a way that it also speaks to moderates and even the center-right. Whether such a being can exist for such a fragmented coalition is hard for me to predict - I really can't tell if they're all so foundationally incompatible and just held together by corruption, or if it only seems that way from decades of uniparty bullshit, much like how the left still labors under the illusion that the right is just dominated by christian fundamentalists.

Using Obama and Michael Obama to carry her campaign again, for the next 4-5 days all she's scheduled to do is 2 campaign events, 1 rally and 1 podcast. 2 of those are going to feature the obamas, is she running out of energy and needs to be carried or is she just drunk all the time?
Also, one of those campaign events is a Bruce Springsteen concert. Just like Biden they need to bribe their "supporters" with famous music acts to draw a crowd.

I'm really not sure, because a lot of the avowed Marxist types have been given committee assignments, meaning they know things that they can use to hurt the party. Worst of all, they are young ideologues. Bernie Sanders won't do anything like that because he's older and he's played the game. The younger people will try to flip the table if it fits the theater performance narrative in their head.
If the Democrats do not clean house, I see their party relegated to urban elites and little else.
