The Electoral College is one of the best things about our system of government, prevents not just a few states, but a few large cities within a few states from deciding a national election. It's also in the Constitution, meaning an amendment would be needed to remove the Electoral College. Figure the odds of that happening.

Thinking back to the many Presidential elections I've been through, the Kneepads/Knucklehead ticket is the worst Dem ticket I have ever seen. Even Michael Dukakis had more gravitas than Kneepads.
