It is not incompetence, it is malicious abuse of office.
Now we wait for the inevitable ridiculous judgment that will be appealed until it finds a judge who understands what will happen to the NYC skyline if the ruling is allowed to stand.
In a sane universe this judge is later prosecuted, along with all the other judges and complicit DA's, for RICO abuse of their office under color of law to divest innocents of their assets.

If those judges didn't want him campaigning in their courtrooms, they shouldn't have given him those gag orders. Now they get to deal with the monster they made.
In fact, that's a good theme for 2024. The economy, Muslims pissed off over Gaza, illegal aliens draining the cities, Trump exposing the banana republic, all of them monsters created by the state.
