I'm baffled by the DeSantis campaign's strategy of furiously sucking Jew cock and agitating for war even as the entire world turns on Israel and every poll shows U.S voters almost universally do not want another foreign war.

Just a hunch, I think whoever was advising him pre-presidential bid and possibly very shortly after has either been fired, or left.
Because DeSantis pre and during covid vs DeSantis post campaign announcement are almost different people, outwardly and on the surface, in terms of relatability, confidence, and capacity to glean what the populist base wants.
I've been saying for years now that the guy is just another neocon cog in the establishment machine who somehow divined what was popular during covid but never really had an idea of if it was him, or some advisor. I take it as proof that on his own, he's as absolutely fucking clueless as his fellow travelers.

Yeah but therein lies the problem. He wasn't an out-and-out retard about it spewing pro-war rhetoric and losing his shit when he first started. It could be said that his campaign started out reserved or even boring but it's better than whatever the fuck it is now.
I assume it's something to do with someone who was giving him pointers as he seems completely lost and out of touch as compared to his campaign for governor and his messaging pre-presidential bid and a little after joining the race. Him fellating neocons and espousing their rhetoric publicly seems to be what was being held in check rather than an unnatural turn, if he was the origin of his political acumen during covid it'd stand to reason that he'd be capable of pulling a Clinton "public/private opinions" game with his neocon funders.

I will be voting NO on all funding packages for the Ukraine war (as I have from the beginning) and now the Israel war.
We have had over 10 MILLION people illegally cross our border since Biden took office and we are over $33 TRILLION dollars in debt with many major problems afflicting Americans.
The United States government needs to focus on spending American’s hard earned tax dollars on our own country and needs to serve the American people NOT the rest of the world.
I voted YES on both resolutions condemning the attack on Ukraine and the attack on Israel however I will continue to vote NO on spending American’s hard earned tax dollars to fund wars defending foreign country’s borders while our own border is overrun and our own national security is at risk.
Also Ukraine and Israel are very different.
Ukraine is completely propped up by the US and continues to beg for more US tax dollars while Washington fights it’s proxy war with Russia and Israel is a strong thriving independent nation that prides itself on defending their own people.
Also, there is $3.8 billion dollars readily available to Israel in the Defense approps bill and the State and Foreign Ops bill, but Schumer and the Senate have not lifted a finger to pass those bills and Biden has not signed them into law.
Our Republican House majority and new Speaker Johnson should refuse any more funding bills until the Senate does it’s job and our border is secure.
We’ve done our job in the House and we must keep passing our remaining Approps bills.
The Democrat controlled Senate has passed ZERO percent of the budget, while the House has passed over 70% of the budget.
I’m tired of the games.
