None of these idiots realize the only way to gain momentum is to run to the right of Trump and no one is willing to do that for fear of being called names. 2005 era compassionate conservatism is a completely dead ideology. It has virtually no voter base left.
The common sentiment of the popular Right (not the politicians but the voters) has caught up to Ron Paul's ideals from 2012 (though he's held them for a very long time)

Go to any rural town and find a working class gentleman and he'll probably agree:

Audit (and end) the Fed
Right to bear arms shall not be infringed
Close the border
Get our troops out of every other country
Shut down three letter agencies

Republican party would NEVER nominate anyone holding even half of these positions.

Also the fact that Maine had red flag laws that were ignored, and they had months of opportunity to do something before the dude cracked.
Also the guy was a literal fed glowie
LE had him on his radar?

I wonder why they didn't do anything...
Worse, he's one of them. He was a firearms instructor for one of the agencies, and got forcefully instutionalized after threatening to shoot up the place.
He still somehow found a gun.

"When we get piled upon one another in large cities, as in Europe, we shall become as corrupt as Europe." - Thomas Jefferson

The city is inherently evil and corrupts the souls of men. Biblically, the first city ever mentioned was built by Cain, after murdering his brother and being cursed by God.

Genesis 4:17 "Cain knew his wife, and she conceived and bore Enoch. When he built a city, he called the name of the city after the name of his son, Enoch."
I had actually been thinking about this lately (even the Bible verse), and specifically wondering if anyone has ever attempted a study on certain questions related to it:

- How populated, on average, does a town usually have to get before it starts voting in leftists?
(although admittedly you would also have to factor in the distance to other metro areas and what size those are, so I'm not sure how it would even be standardized)

- Just which aspects of "city life" actually serve to either a) change the politics of current residents, or b) attract those with different politics to start moving there?

And then, if we could find the answers to those questions, it would be interesting to see if/how that knowledge could ever be applied practically. Not just in our personal lives where we already basically know what to do anyway, but also on a large-scale level politically - at least in red states for the sake of preserving themselves.

At this point Designated Neocon might as well be "The fucking winner of the loser pile"
GOP establishment still thinks Neoconservatism is a winning strategy in the Year of Our Lord 2023.

Fucking glow niggers.

There might be a formula for that... The upper limit of people that anyone can know is about 150, so small towns under that number have everyone know everyone. I'd guess that the limit would be where you can still largely interact with only the same 150 people each day (enjoy the same hobbies, go to the same grocery stores, work in the same team, etc), and once you exceed that limit you start having to "group" individuals into the same stereotypes. I suspect the stereotypes also count towards the 150 limit so if you attempt to be incredibly focused on individuals you run out of capacity to keep track of groups.

That’s what makes American leftism so interesting, they don’t build anything, and they have no permanent symbols or beliefs. The closest thing to a rallying flag I can think of is a pride flag, and they fight over that constantly too. They already tear down all their heroes once they’re no longer useful. Speaking of civil rights: look at how they’re attacking MLK’s or Obama’s legacy.

The only meaningful iconoclasm I can think of would be a mass burning of Pride icons or building a church over the Stonewall Inn.
The cure is noncompliance. Erect ten more statues.

Get fucked Pence

You betrayed the American People and the man who took you to the 2nd highest office in the world all at the behest of your masters then they threw you to the dogs when you were no longer useful and boy did you deserve it. You had a chance to make history but instead you choose to go down like a little bitch.

Enjoy your legacy Mikey.

I think before we ask any of these questions we really need to nail down why every single big city always, always turn Blue. Even die hard GoP centres like Texas and Utah have all their cities solid blue.

There is something that happens in these big cities that they all have in common that makes this blue-ifaction 100% likely. And I would love to know.

What makes every big city Blue?

That is how elections are run in every large city in the country.
This is even taught in public schools, but they always falsely state that machine politics are a thing of the past.

I shall forever remember him as Pizza Ranch Pence

I'm amazed Pence actually stayed in as long as he did. I hope the 30 pieces of silver were all worth it Mikey, because whatever future aspirations you had for your political career are totally ruined.

Chrispy Creme being a liberal:

Mike Pence's speech where he hangs it up, the long applause at the end confuses him because he can't tell if they're clapping for his principles or clapping because he quit:

And more freaky evidence of Meatball wearing lifts. Not only his shoes bending an impossible way, but look at how high the lifts make him change his gait and his pants are too short (when they used to be too long):

Modern cities are deeply anti-social, as in you are not actually a part of a society and culture with people of a similar ancestry and values and ideals. Cities have grown into economic entities first and foremost.

When you live in a small town you care about the local Homeowners Association, the local parks and churches, the people who know each other a little enough that there is a sense of community.

On a large town you don't have that, the community is far more concentrated in being a machine not a organic extension of the inhabitants. This wouldn't be too much of a proble but because of the lack of cohesion and breakdown of societal links with the advance of multiculturalism and pushes for always trying to appease everyone instead of going towards a set goal it has made it very annoying to manage.

Thus in large cities the people who will be joining to help run it are gonna overwhelmingly be either ones with a desire for the power and money of these positions, or ideologues who want to push their vision of what they think the city SHOULD be. The ideologues however are always overwhelmingly leftist because for a good 60 years they have taken over the institutions and anyone whose views and opinions tend to run right wing finds it much harder to cope with the environment of such city organizations and entities.

It's a lot harder to keep morale up and muster the strength of will to go to work on the local county office to try and get rid of drug appeasement faggotry when doing so means having to deal with a 24/7 onslaught of propaganda from people who hate you and having to constantly fight for your life for even a tiny move right, when lefties can win by just being there.

That leads me to another point that I should have made clear. Because it's not enough that we haven't seen such gross corruption, incompetence, and just disgusting behavior by people currently in power, but that there are clearly not enough people out there who are not willing to tolerate any of this. That is what's most worrisome and also different from what came before.
My personal theory is that a lot of them have been browbeaten by egregiously retarded college kids and zoomers. "OMG! MOM AND DAD! WHY YOU SO EBIL!"

Clusterfuck is good, its when all parties in D.C. are in agreement that you're getting fucked and your future looted.
Not when the clusterfuck means welding the gates open and letting millions of illegal aliens in.

They didn't all used to be blue. Many cities had Republican mayors until recently. There are a few major things that happened. One demographic change. The Republicans voting base has always been and still is white, married, middle-class families. Well, the Republicans followed the pied piper of mass immigration & feminism, so now the cities are full of brown people and single women.

The next is that some time between the 1990s and today, the Republicans just like...stopped actually running for office. It's really weird. I've been an adult long enough to see the change. In the 1990s, a Republican mayoral candidate would run on things you'd expect a mayoral candidate to run on. He'd run on issues with the schools, the roads, crime, whatever the big urban issues were. Today? They're all these useless dorks who blather platitudes about limited government and low taxes, but are scared shitless when it comes to actually addressing issues that matter in the city. Why would anyone vote for someone who doesn't want to actually exercise the office he's nominally running for?

Like a statue of a polite police man "dedicated to those who serve our communities" or what have you, placed someplace in public.
Wait, I thought the right disbanded their devoted loyalty of law enforcement after the COVID lockdowns, George Floyd, and January 6. Make up your minds.

Here's a compromise: erect a statue of Teresa Wright.
