The raid combined with Mitch’s midterm performance combined are big deals. Raid showed the GOP that their paymasters will in fact go after them for going against the grain. Mitch showed that he is in fact useless to American interests during midterms. They need the voters to believe that the GOP is in fact fighting for their interests, not to win general elections, but to stop primaries from happening AOC style. Difference being, the primaries will happen due to public outrage, not sneaking enough people in on voting day.

Roy Moore’s defeat was due to the uniparty in action. They needed some key defeats at that time to try to depress the sentiment of nationalist populism. The people of Alabama voted wrong in the primaries so all the stops were pulled to fuck him over. Same thing happened to Kris Kobach in Kansas around the same time. Many other cases too. Pretty relevant with what just happened with the Speakership.

And Joepedo finally went to the border today, wants to do some rule change where it basically sends 30,000 Mexicans back but then wants that much and more from other countries to be expedited in.

I suspect that has something to do with more and more Mexicans leaning R and wanting tighter border security. They are afraid of losing their gibs if too many south and central americans cross over so a surprising number of Mexicans have suddenly become interested in border security.
So naturally, the Dems want fewer Mexicans and more south/central Americans.
