While I still think the story's ridiculous, you're off the mark here - flying distances between Islamabad and Mashhad and Zahedan are almost identical. Driving distance Mashhad-Tehran is way shorter than Zahedan-Tehran, so we have to admit that part of the story checks out.

Don't know if you saw but there was apparently a prototype caught on camera, it's in the UAP happenings thread. That would be incredible if they had both show up. The F-47 is still night only though if that was really one, so I'd be pretty pleasantly surprised.
