To be a little fair to Trump, there's not much he can actually do purely on his own. He can ease off a little pressure with executive orders but not enough to be really substantial. Congress being gummed up with limp-wristed Republicans can't even get voter ID taken care despite it having the support of most Americans.
The RINOs are the biggest problem right now, but I don't think any have survived when up for the primary this year.
If socialism fans want their ideology to spread they really should consider a name change for it. Not that it has any chance of spreading to a point where socialists have real power of course.
I think they've realized DHS is probably serious about shutting down international travel, which would be fucking devastating to the state right now, no matter how much whining they do. They cannot possibly hurt the administration as much as that kind of shutdown will hurt them. So I think right now they're having some "fun" internal discussions: "do we push this ICE shit more and risk the airport, or do we let ICE get away with [doing their actual jobs]?" Either way they know they're fucked. I think they're just trying to decide which option hurts less (remember letting go of agitprop like this at the ICE center means abandoning all the money they spent setting things up and working to "unwind" their pre-wired useful idiots prematurely, which isn't always easy -- if you're 80 IQ and pumped up and ready to fuck shit up for The Cause™, you'd feel pretty pissed if orders from on high say "lol nvm we're giving up and letting them win").
more importantly, I don't think they can course correct because they've outright convinced themselves that open borders are a good thing and wort risking literally everything for. Otherwise they would've course corrected when the videos went viral of an unimaginable amount of illegals sitting under a bridge, or all the times an illegal turns out to be a criminal.
Very few people are prospering off AI right now. We're in the part of the cycle where they're firing people to keep the stock going up.

Can somebody explain to me why these world cup games are fixin' to be massive logistical clusterfucks? We have NFL games in the same stadium and it's an average sunday, why is a world cup game an apocalypse?
Besides the DHS shutdown threat, they're basically protesting an actual jail (right next to this detention center), are sitting right next to/under a gas(? oil?) pipeline (that's what that weird gantry over the road is you see in a lot of clips, I'm surprised they haven't tried to attack it yet tbh), are right down the street from both a waste management center and a bus depot (not to mention a bunch of warehouses) and this street is one of two exit roads from a large port. They are fucking with the entire city by shitting up this one road.
FIFA is batshit insane and wants stuff to be "car free" - maybe they've gone back on that since but that's the last news regarding the FIFA World Cup I heard, imagine it's similar for most.

Just wait until multiple companies start realizing AI might cost more to use than it is to hire people full time with benefits. It isn’t something that I think can take over as many jobs as the doomers think because just the electrical costs are absurdly high. Then you have to also train the remaining workers there to use the AI, which can sometimes be more redundant and actually take longer than doing it by hand. Then add in the fact that even with the advancements in AI, even for coding, you still have to understand coding enough to proofread the AI code to find mistakes.
