USUS Politics General 2: Hope Edition - Discussion of President Trump and other politicians
I vaguely recall some science video shown in grade school in the late 90s/ early 00s that claimed the ozone layer would be so worn down that we would need protective suits to go outside or risk super cancer. Even as a child, I smelled bullshit,
In 2nd grade we had to watch some science video with David Attenborough claiming that an area of rainforest the size of Vermont was destroyed every year and nothing would be left by 2000 if we don't ban "slash and burn agriculture" immediately.
I distinctly remember interrupting the video, annoying my teacher, because I'd done the math on my desk and showed that the Amazon Rainforest alone was almost 250 times the size of Vermont, so we had at least 2 centuries before we'd run out of just that one particular rainforest even if we do nothing. She basically told me to stop overthinking things, lol.
Then in college, 15 years or so later, my Anthropology professor had us watch a science video on the Amazon Rainforest Yanomami tribes. It was mostly about indians shooting each other with shotguns, as I recall.
Anyway, this time David Attenborough's voiceover was explaining how "slash and burn agriculture" was a sustainable forestry practiced by native tribes for 10,000 years or something and how it was the only effective way to grow food in the rainforest due to the shitass soil. Then he went on a rant about how evil cattle farmers were destroying an area of the Amazon the size of Vermont each year, and if we didn't ban meat the Climate Change monster would destroy the world by the year 2015.
That’s so weird how my rent didn’t double under Trump but it did under Biden
Oh and the shit where eggs were like $8/dozen
Plug your vagina for a minute and stop bleeding everywhere over how bad you want to fuck Trump
Yes, gas is inconveniently high right now. It’s amazing how that’s all it cost to bomb the shit out of Iran when we suffered way worse for nothing one administration ago

There are scientific papers from USMARID and several other totally not bioweapons research facilities (TM) speculating on the efficacy of ticks as transfer vectors for bioweapons as far back as the late 60s.
I strongly doubt this is foreign terrorism but rather something homegrown that escaped Resident Evil style.
I don't know what's more embarrassing, your social media intern still posting "muh eggs" in 2026 when they are dirt cheap again, or someone sharing it as an 'own".
Beyond dirt cheap. I can only get them in 18 and 30 cartons. Dozen egg cartons are extinct due to how cheap they are. It's over for Drumpf 2 more weeks the walls are closing in.
Yes, it is rather difficult to use the internet, I understand. People like you born after 9/11 really have it tough, here, I'll do it for you, since you're incapable of using a computer, hell, you're probably on a smart phone.
Yeah we shouldn’t spend any money, let’s just kinda chill and jerk off about the non aggression principle while China slides in the Panama Canals’ DMs and otherwise fucks our asses globally
Stop pretending to be a retard because you’re mad
Geopolitics will never stop just because we don’t feel like it. Someone else feels like it. When there’s a vacuum, the vacuum gets filled

A railway hub that Germany in 1945 with no fuel, or even trucks or carts to carry coal into the imaginary trains that didn't exist by April 1945 which was already battered with accurate US bombing into the marshalling yards since 1944 anyway?
"It wasn't a war crime, but I don't care, that women and children were slaughtered by the dozens of thousands, they thought it was dumb of us for wanting their mostly German city back that the french gave us despite doing nothing to gain it, and actually joining the German and Austrians against Russia but backstabbing them immediately once there's was a ceasefire and so they fought for it back, so we dragged ourselves and half of Europe into a world war and 50 years of Soviet enslavement"
Fix'd
I want to know how much the pharmaceutical lobby is paying these politicians. Why punish people for knowingly spreading HIV when they’re making more customers for these companies?
yall remember how much bass we had in our voice in the first week, how cocky we were being. We though shit was sweet and Iran was Venezuela.
I feel like the USA just tried to punk some nerd for his lunch money and the nerd finnaly got tired of being picked on and the bully kinda looked a little tired to so just walloped us right back. sure we still beat them up but now we got a black eye and no lunch money and everyone is looking at us like we just got punked.
no matter how you slice it this Iran debacle has been an unmitigated disaster, if we cant force a middle teir power like Iran to bend like Iraq, Libya, Syria and kinda Afghanistan before them we might very well have lost some of that overseas power that has seem unquestioned since ww2.
In a world of super cheap, accurate and deadly drones you cant wave around billion dollar warships in front of the enemy anymore.
its so funny cause this is EXACTLY how the Germans lost in ww2 (in one way) they had all these fancy boutique expensive tanks that on paper were bigger and better than everyone else and we just said "thats cute" and brought 13 tanks for every 1 they had, to quote Bill Burr "We Mcdonaldsed them"
now how far is the shoe on the other foot? we have these super expensive fancy planes and boats that just get clowned on by cheap easy to make drones while our fancy shit breaks down from being over engineered Source

It's possible there's pharmacological backing to such a move, but honestly I think it's probably just because they want to have their weird bug chasing gay sex parities without any ramifications. Democrat politicians all go to gay orgies.
