I'd love to see birthright citizenship gone, but I'm not interested in doing it illegally. Whether we like it or not, birthright citizenship was the intended legal outcome of the fourteenth amendment, if we start pulling out hokey re-interpretations of established law, we get awful rulings like Trump V. United States. Poisoning the entire well of the nation's legal system is not worth it for such a victory. Sure we'll have fewer immigrants for as long as rule of law holds, but we'll ultimately end up with a third world failed state government and still receive immigrants.

Maybe we could figure out a way to keep birthright citizenship around with some other countermeasures going on to prevent its abuse
