Wait till people in the South begin contemplating a hurricane season with $9 gas.
And if that happens, then yeah, we can stick a fork in it for the GOP in the midterms lol.

At the end of the day, the cost of living is what's going to determine the outcome of these midterms. Not the "war," not ICE ... The cost of living.

President Trump on Joe Kent:

I always thought he was a nice guy, but I always thought he was weak on security—very weak on security. I didn’t know him well, but he seemed like a pretty nice guy.

But when I read his statement, I realized that it’s a good thing that he’s out because he said that Iran was not a threat. Iran was a threat—every country realized that.

Trump’s take is by definition the correct one: Joe was a good guy but was blinded by biases built up from his history with wars in the Middle East. This allowed a number of terrorist attacks on his watch. He’s out and we can all hope the next will do better.

Let me stress that America is at WAR. Terror attacks will continue so we must all be vigilant. If you can carry, you should. Avoid crowds and demonstrations.

I'm still of the opinion that will lose one but not both. Looks like we'll be keeping the senate and losing the house.
Republicans always underperform in polls so if they're saying it's a 51% chance that Democrats are going to take it, the numbers more like mid 40s.
I think slim keep on both. It's way too early to tell. Usually nobody can get much on any major elections until late September. It's going to take awhile, especially the way opinions and news these days swing so hard back and forth over every week.

Absolutely nothing is set in stone. I'm just saying that my prediction right now is the same that it was in the beginning of the year. We will keep one and give up the other.
I would say that the Senate is a safe bet but like you said, anything can happen in 6 months. It would be pretty funny if we picked up seats in both, though.

but don't you know? they're a superpower. the communist spirit drives them to ignore hardships and take this complete and total lack of all electricity in stride! they love their communist government!

i genuinely wish i had contact with the commie i used to know who would constantly defend states like cuba and venezuela as doing just fine. i couldn't stand dealing with him anymore, so i cut contact a year ago, but GOD i miss seeing him come to me demanding an explanation for why america was so badass in yet another way. i can only imagine how pissed he was when we discombobulated maduro, and how absolutely steaming mad he is now that we're going to take the goddamn cuban land.
I remember a decade ago having a burnt out old commie history professor that constantly glazed Castro.

Late me if im...well late, but i was impressed by this

Genuinely dangerous to call out Israeli influence when you're in a position of power
It wouldn’t be the first time a foreign propaganda campaign got us into a war. The British did this in WW1 where they cut Germany’s telegram cables to the US so they could get us on their side. That’s where the whole “The Huns are raping women and bayoneting babies” shtick came from.

Still, maybe it’s a good thing Kent is out. If there’s anyone I trust to handle Iran, it’s Trump. He at least knows that no nation benefits from prolonged warfare.
