Very much a fan of this, though I wish it included why fats are important as well because I feel like too many people don't know, myself included until very recently. Fats are used in the production of hormones and body fat isn't a replacement for dietary fat. I used to have brain fog and low energy all the time, then I found that out and bumped my carbs down and fats up and I haven't had a single day with brain fog since. That pyramid is pretty much what I came to for my macros. 40-60% protein, 30-40% fat, some veggies for fiber, and then top it off with just enough carbs to get through the day (basically just trying to stay out of ketosis due to a medication that doesn't play well with ketones). If I sat on my ass all day basically none, just whatever is in my veggies is more than enough. If I was shucking and jiving for 10+ hours and/or managed to get my cardio in I'll have some whole oats or something like that. Basically try to stay away from sugar entirely, I've gotten to where I don't even miss it
