That said there are a lot of people who have zero faith in the judicial system these days so I expect this sort of thing to become more common.

If a Justice system refuses to function maybe people defending obvious shitbags who will be protected by that system should find a different job.

So many high profile cases of activist judges spitting in everyone's face would be a good reason to find other applications for your law degree before you defend someone who killed the nephew of a man who is willing to go that far, and if that man is going to go that far for god's sake don't lay hands on him first.
