It's because they're trying to replicate the "mystification" effect that Marx and his type used to fool people into thinking that their arguments and assertions were worthwhile--because someone who uses so many wise-sounding words (a number which are made up) to address seemingly real-world issues (cast in either the worst or the best possible light with no room for subtlety) must be experts in...whatever the hell they're talking about, right? To quote James Lindsay:

Ranked choice voting is shit, but Mamdani won because a large portion of NYC’s population is recently imported Muslims and Indians (who vote along religious/ethnic lines) and self-hating trust fund kids (who like his policies because they assuage their guilt for having unearned wealth).

The Muslim invasion is so large that New Yorkers brag about having halal carts instead of hot dog carts.

Nobody pays $100k, they charge $100k because insurance pays out like $5k, and they'd pay less if the master charge was less.

Its why I always tell people "No ambulances don't cost $2000, we just bill insurance that so we get $250."

Bingo. Part of the issue is that if insurance just paid out and didn't fight, then hospitals and doctors can charge what it really costs. But no one wants to take that first step because the corruption and fighting is so ingrained at this point.

I had to get a tooth pulled, afterward oral surgeon bills me $1000 at the counter. I tell the girl I don't have dental and I'm paying out of my pocket. She tells the surgeon, he comes back out and lowers it to $300.

Speaking of medical costs, you know what is funny? In police videos and I assume also with these protests, you know a bunch of these niggas be like “waaahhh I need an ambulance!! You pushed me” - funny story, you know who pays for the ambulance ride and the hour in the ER? Niggers. Not the feds, not the cops, not the county. It’s always the retard trying to waste everyone’s time. Then, they get stuck with hospital debt they never pay back.

It’s always funny because as they get stuck with the bill, normal people needing an ambulance or an ER spot got pushed. Normal people with real health issues and emergencies being pushed out by retarded niggers and obese people. Meanwhile, hospitals work on constantly being full as more niggers and fat people rush the doors.

Imagine, if you will, if American criminals had ann IQ over 60 and fat people were obliterated from this earth. Perhaps, in that case, hospitals could compete with each other over pricing and be cheaper.

Legit, the entire medical system is a nightmare. Only because of dumb fucking niggers and obese people flooding them. Lmao.

Some procedures costing $100,000+ makes sense. Even 90 pills shouldn't cost $100,000. That's a racket perpetrated against the government, insurance companies, and individuals. Regardless of who it directly effects, it's ultimately effecting the whole nation. That's why the government and other groups should be involved in negotiating prices of pills.

Sometimes Nolan can be a bit of a hack, but the monologue from the Dark Knight about plans is applicable here. For decades the Republicans and Democrats were part of the uniparty system, working hand in glove for their own benefits (and donors) with a hearty middle finger to the American public. They called Bush Hitler when he was in office, but once he was out it was champagne flutes with the Clintons because all that was kayfabe. Just fake shit made up to sell the illusion of a power struggle between the parties, when in reality its all pre-scripted collusion to maintain their corrupt power and wealth. It didn't really matter who 'won', they had storylines and plans for all their 'rival' politicians ready to go on the road to further fucking the USA for their own gain.

Then Orange Man enters the ring, an agent largely outside their world who is not part of their plan, that is completely unexpected, practically an 'out of context' problem that cannot be subverted, controlled, or managed by their usual, conventional means. This is why they flipped out so hard, and continue to scream madly into the void as they struggle with an element so outside their comprehension. Its why they keep trying to assassinated him (an extremely bad idea), and everything else, they literally cannot think rationally because they do not have the framework for it.
