Would an EO be able to change the PERM requirement a bit? Making an official government version of jobs.now would probably destroy many PERM positions instantly, accompanied with an incredibly heavy fine for any untruthful information when uploading the information.
Yeah, when I heard about jobs.now and all the BS that normally goes into hiding these jobs I couldn't believe this wasn't already a thing. This should absolutely be a part of the plan, with penalties for trying to obscure what the job actually is. Give every applicant the results of the listing, allow for appeals if a non-American is hired

I read something about that "Level 1 security" and "superbowl level security" stuff and heard about how many secret service and local leos and state leos and just all manners of security being there, it's gonna be locked up so tight, to the point i'll be shocked if anything more than some troon screaming in the crowd will happen.
Calling it now. Jimmy Kimmel flies his private plane directly into the arena kamikaze-style, but he's such a bad aim that he only succeeds in killing journalists.

I think 2028 is going to be Vance/Gabbard.

She seems really angry with the DNC and I would gladly have her be a heartbeat away from the Oval office now.
I'm personally hoping for Vance/Miller but I feel like that's a long shot.

Erika Kirk should probably spend the rest of the decade securing Charlie's legacy, making sure Turning Point continues to have a strong impact, that there are other voices that can carry Charlie's message to young people.

After that, and assuming she well and willing maybe entering in to politics. She has two young children with out a father and if she wanted to make that her focus I wouldn't blame her if she doesn't enter politics until the 2040's.

I'm legit worried the left will try something like assassinating Kirk's Widow or blatantly opening fire into the crowd.
As deranged as the left is I wouldn't put it past a random Antifa Shithead or a tranny with a gun trying to make themselves a hero
I've heard that they have a fuckton of security for this event for this exact reason, so I imagine things will be alright (🌈)

Bill Clinton’s aides have been seen carrying a defibrillator unit with them everywhere he goes. The difference in crowd size between his and Charlie Kirk’s funeral will be very stark if he dies soon.

This may not seem important to most of us, but to a lot of the upper crust, legacy means everything to them. Most of us know we will die and probably just get a snippet in the newspaper. But to the political class? Journalists? Billionaires? They are probably constantly comparing how many streets, hospitals, and park benches are named after each other. I don’t know why, probably ego from being rich and powerful. It’s not something most of us can fathom.

But, to see an elected two-term Democrat be less well-liked than an unelected “kid” of 31? This makes them have existential crises.

I think she should stay the leader of Turning Point until her kids are grown, adn turn it over to them, and remain a Kingmaker in politics for the rest of her life.

In the likely event Zohran Mamdani takes over New York City, he is likely to release almost half the criminals in Rikers Island into a city already racked by the crime that flourishes under neoliberal rule:
1758474947944.webp
The infamous New York City prison has around 7,000 criminals on average and Mamdani cited a pro-crime proposal to reduce the number in there to only 3,700 criminals. …

Mamdani cited an article by an activist from the John Jay College of Criminal Justice…

Its proposals for cutting the Rikers population in half include no bail for first arrests “even in serious violent felony cases”, freeing three-quarters of criminals “facing violent felony charges”, exempting from prison those charged with a list of sentences that covers sexual misconduct, forcible touching, as well as sexual abuse in the second and third degrees, mandatory pre-trial release of criminals after a certain period, more early release for a variety of offenders including those who have committed assault and sexual abuse, and releasing criminals “who really do pose a flight risk” but offering them “employment assistance” to keep them from running away.

Crime stats are already shooting upward in the prelude to Mamdani taking power:
Over the last 28 day period in New York City, murder is up 19%, rape is up 38.9%, the number of shooting victims is up 36%.

To get an idea of how bad it can still get, consider how the NYC Subway system is a microcosm of neoliberal anarcho-tyranny (e.g., here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here).

Any remaining New Yorkers who are not shitlibs are advised to get out ASAP and pray that Democrats are never able to inflict on the whole country what they are about to do to its largest city.

no, it's going to be Vance for sure. If Erika could really boost her profile in the next 3 or so years then I could see Vance picking her as a VP choice.

Anyone calling for Erika Kirk to be the VP gives off the same energy as all of the Democrats clamoring for Michele Obama to run for president. Even putting aside her lack of qualifications, being in government at any level is incredibly demanding. It's bad enough the children lost their father, but who would want to take their mother from them as well?

Bill Clinton’s aides have been seen carrying a defibrillator unit with them everywhere he goes. The difference in crowd size between his and Charlie Kirk’s funeral will be very stark if he dies soon.

If people attend to make sure he's actually dead, Clinton's funeral could be larger.

Bill dying while Trump is still in office and giving Donald the opportunity to preside over funeral services in Washington would be a delightful knife to thrust into the rotten, black pit occupying the space where Hillary's heart should be.
