Depends. Most people prefer that you have a degree over anything. It's only a liability because of the price of most colleges. Most people who work in trades would rather work in an office compared to out in the field if given the option

I'm not a journalist. I want to stick to only publicly released info here. I'm not looking to air anyone's business anywhere. This is only a hobby for me.

If you're interested tho, just start connecting dots on paper. Who pays who? Who invites who to which events? Who's married to who? How do timelines line up? Where did they work? Who were their parents? You'll find there are many connections and direct gladhanding no one talks about, which will allow you to suspect other connections... which often end up later being admitted or forced into the open.

Given this forum's focus and political bent, I'm surprised no one ever talks about any of it...or very little of it.

Absolutely. We agree. After about 2000, the world was in a bind. The US global reserve system (much more opaque and obscure than the public will ever know) was the best we had for global finance and economy. We used it for our benefit, obv, but it wasn't designed to do what it does, so it's very "broken" or you could say has lots of problems. It has little elasticity, for example. You're pointing out one of these problems (depending on your viewpoint) and it's a growing issue.

Personally I think the US has cut a deal with the other major powers to globalize governance at an elite level while regionalizing power blocks to continue resource extraction. This is why MAGA believes they're winning, as the US is regionalized and it appears the "Deep State" is on the retreat (and made to look that way), but if you acktually follow things, it is merely being shifted to an all out global, total police state system. This is why no one should have been surprised when the administration, apropos of nothing, started talking about taking over Greenland, Canada, etc. This will be one of the regionalized power blocks. If anyone bothered to read anything, you've have already known it was coming.

Dude, I go to a community, and I plan on transferring after my A.A. this is probably the only money i'll take out for college. It's a massive help for me personally. What would you suggest I do if pell grants are gone? I still want to pursue a education in my major.

Good info. Thank you. Too many people don't understand: there doesn't have to be a reserve currency. Also, cash dollars are not the only or even primary instrument in the current global reserve system.

Really it's my belief those in charge are working on a new global reserve...which won't be cash money at all and won't look like money in a way people even understand. Google "college scholarship searches" and you will find countless public resources to search for scholarships that apply to you. Even if you're a white guy, you can find some money set aside by private endowment.

To anyone who lives in Massachusetts: the Boston Public Library has an entire center at the main library where they help you search for any scholarships, grants, or other college financial aid. There are over a billion dollars out there to help people get through college.

Personally I’m not against them. But I think you should only be eligible after your first year. I knew about 15-20 people when I was in college that fucked off for two semesters of drinking and partying and of course flunked out. So 20 people wasting a year is 5 full educations that could have been paid for for people who applied themselves. I think you should pay for your first year and get reimbursed after the fact. Then moving forward it’s covered. Also I think it should heavily prioritize STEM. Any liberal arts degree should be heavily scrutinized for eligibility

Not really. With most debts, you can take away whatever that was used as collateral: the house, car, etc. You can’t take the knowledge or the experience away. In that case, it’s perfectly reasonable to be non-dischargeable.

What is fucked is how little guidance all these young adults got from parents, teachers, advisors, etc. and subsequently went into absolutely useless fields. That’s the true disservice to these people. Society failed to give them the skills to fully understand the consequences. Instead, everyone practically yelled at you to get a degree, any degree with no consideration of options or costs. Hell, we didn’t even teach these kids how interest compounds.

They didn’t lower the requirement (more than two standard deviations below the mean). They padded the standard deviation from the original 10 to 15. Average black American IQ is something like 85.
