First off if you are an imperialist nationalist one could argue that the soft power was a small price to pay for american power and stability ,but I won't even make that argument. I am not a lover of free trade or the global order on principle my issue is Trump's not offering a complying comprehensive vision of an alternative that helps the people I care about White people. In eastern Europe there wasn't an alternative to commie blocks because private development was illegal, even if there was there wasn't an economy to support it. I am not advocating for state owned housing for every single citizen that would be insane. I am advocating for enough housing supply to be a baseline standard for housing meaning that landlords can't raise rents to high because they will always have an alternative forcing them to compete on service and quality not desperation.
