digital games are going to be 80 dollars, and physical games will cost another 10 on top of that for a 90 dollar price tag total, meaning that it doesn't have anything to do with the tariffs, and it's just video games finally inflating their consumer price some to catch up. they've been 60 dollars for 20+ years, and old video games used to be 70+ routinely, which if you do the math, inflates into the hundreds in today's money.

no, this is being done to digital games as well, as i explained a bit earlier it's because video games did not inflate in price the way other goods did, and now the inflation is happening all at once, so it seems much higher compared to other things, but if you do inflation calculation, games are far cheaper today, even at 90 USD, than they were regularly priced at during the Super Nintendo and Nintendo 64 eras.
