Canada's Carney says Trump must stop comments before bilateral talks can start

OTTAWA, March 17 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump must stop making "disrespectful" comments about Canada before the two countries can start serious talks about future ties, Prime Minister Mark Carney said on Monday.

Trump, who is promising potentially crippling tariffs against imports from Canada, frequently muses about making the country the 51st U.S. state.

"We've called out those comments. They're disrespectful, they're not helpful, and they ... will have to stop before we sit down and have a conversation about our broader partnership with the United States," Carney told reporters in London.

The remarks by Carney are his toughest yet on Trump since launching his political career in January. Carney, who was sworn in last Friday, has yet to speak to Trump and the U.S. president has remained silent about his appointment.

Carney said Canada wanted a more comprehensive discussion and negotiation of the two neighbors' overall commercial and security relationship.

"When the United States is ready to have that conversation, we're more than ready to sit down," he said.

Canada has retaliated with tariffs against tens of billions of dollars' worth of U.S. imports. Carney said Ottawa would only take action it thought could affect U.S. behavior.

"So this will be very deliberate and there is a limit, full stop. There is a limit to matching these tariffs, dollar for dollar, given the fact that our economy is a tenth the size the United States," he said.

Carney should talk a bit more about his previous job.

Oh and "it" refers to assassinating Trump if you're unclear. The FBI really needs to get on that before one of these crazies gets motivated.
"Somebody take one for the team".

Oh, you mean facing the legal consequences for murdering an acting head of state?! Is that all?!

God, this is almost getting to be haššāšīn levels of devotion, where prospective members were drugged senseless and brought to an earthly representation of what the Muslim "paradise" is supposed to be, all to convince them that the leader of the group was able to guarantee their return--if only they performed an assassination or two...

I want to petition Null to change CoNsTiTuTiOnAl CrIsIs to poz my neg hole whenever someone uses it.

Here is a newflash to people: If bills and pardons were being signed by Biden's autopen signature without the puppet in chief's knowledge we have been in one since 2021.

In my opinion none of anything Biden did should be honored. It should all be rolled back. He was determined to be too senile to stand trial by his own DoJ but was allowed by RINOS and the DNC to continue running the country.

Anything Trump does to prevent a Woodrow Wilson 3.0 is a win. Investigate everything, challenge everything, and for fuck's sake start impeaching judges that support cartels and South American gangs for clout, think government graft is cool, and want to mutilate children and the mentally ill for fun and social profit.

>Voice of America shut down.
>Russian State Media and Chinese State Media are having victory parties over the closure of Voice of America
I know it's a little early in the morning but do they have any champagne left? I'll toast to the L of media clowns. Where's the charcuterie board?
BRIETBART EXCLUSIVE is as trustworthy as "my Uncle works at Nintendo"
But thankfully the WAYBACK MACHINE EXISTS
lol you said these in the same breath, good one.

Now they are saying the JFK files are gonna be unredacted. Hopefully it's true but I have my doubts.
I hope they give a bunch of YouTubers and Right Wing influencers binders full of the JFK Docs Part 0.8 a few hours before the drop to give us a teaser for the massive docu drop that's Part 1 of 30.

I will not be satisfied until Pam Bondi upstages Kingdom Hearts in terms of ridiculous names for her releases.

If you can nullify presidential pardons then they're useless. Even court rulings can't be overruled, not normally at least.
To help reiterate, the pardons aren't being "unpardoned". They were signed by a machine while Joe Biden wasn't even in the country, so the idea is that the president never signed the pardon, so it's not real. There never was a pardon, so it's nullified, not reversed.

The argument is that Biden didn't even know these pardons were being issued. If he was aware of the pardons and authorized them it doesn't matter how they were signed or by whom.

Sorry to anybody who wants to see fauci in prison, but remember that whatever power you give to your side, it will be used by the other side when the pendulum swings in that direction
Fauci? I do not give a fuck about Fauci. I give a fuck about the fact that once again the democrats had a turnip in office issuing orders and making laws.

Besides I have a feeling Fauci is kind of fucked for some reason:
A coalition of 17 Republican state attorneys general is investigating Dr. Anthony Fauci's actions during the COVID-19 pandemic. Led by South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson, the group is examining allegations of mismanagement, misleading statements, and suppression of scientific debate.

Attorneys General Participating in the Investigation:
  1. Alan Wilson (South Carolina)
  2. Jonathan Skrmetti (Tennessee)
  3. John Guard (Acting Attorney General of Florida)
  4. Liz Murrill (Louisiana)
  5. Ken Paxton (Texas)
  6. Steve Marshall (Alabama)
  7. Raúl Labrador (Idaho)
  8. Drew Wrigley (North Dakota)
  9. Derek E. Brown (Utah)
  10. Todd Rokita (Indiana)
  11. Marty Jackley (South Dakota)
  12. Tim Griffin (Arkansas)
  13. Austin Knudson (Montana)
  14. Andrew Bailey (Missouri)
  15. Kris Kobach (Kansas)
  16. John B. McCuskey (West Virginia)
  17. Mike Hilgers (Nebraska)

The coalition has requested that Congress share any findings that could lead to state investigations and potential prosecutions, emphasizing their commitment to transparency and accountability in public health responses.

<--- LOL look at this faggot

I know Thunderdomers are known for being really short-sighted and having a low intellect, but you'd think they'd realize that if their waifu can undo presidential pardons, then the next president can do it for their fellow QAnoners that were arrested for Jan 6th.

It's even more hilarious that they are still supporting the obese, elderly, senile conman who they want to penetrate them even after the absolute disaster that his first 2 months have been. I think even their simpleton brains know, deep down, that it's been a disaster and they regret it but they are too proud to admit it. It's a common trait in people with a low intellect.
I believe the argument is not that Trump is undoing pardons. The argument is that this power belongs solely with the President and that Biden did not issue the pardons, but his staffers did. Therefore, the argument goes, Biden never actually pardoned anyone.

You don't have to buy it, but I figured I'd clarify.
