I have always wondered about this. Can you make statements about committing a crime in response to a more egregious crime?

Example: "if anyone molest my child I will kill them slowly and painfully". In this example for this to be considered a threat the person would have to admit their intent to molest my child.

In a semi-related protip a threat has to be creditable to be considered assault. You can tell someone your going to deorbit a meteor into their house, your going to break the chunk of the earth they live on off into space, melt them using the powers of your mind, or shrink them to the size of a goldfish and shove them up obamas ass.

You are also allowed to quote rap lyrics at someone at anytime for no reason without telling them that is what you are doing. If they think it's a threat it's due to their own racism against AAVE.
 
Press conference over, she made some good jabs at Biden. Overall the moron press only seemed to be in defense mode for the terrorists that got deported and not much else.

Highlight was her saying we saved France so they aren't speaking German now, about the statue of liberty.

This is a hypothetical, not a credible and immediate threat aimed at a specific person.
Even if they said "I am going to molest your child" and you calmly responded with "I will kill you if you do" I'm pretty sure it's still not an issue unless there is clear intent.
Aggressively moving towards someone in a threatening manner saying "I'm going to kill you!" is across the line though.

Literally the whole point of how our republic is supposed to work

Trump is not creating some "new" power that can be used by the other side. He's blocking or overturning the fascist attempt to do that

What does this have to do with anything? I've never been a registered Dem voter, nor have I ever supported lefty causes. I don't even like either actual "option" in America because they're both the same at the end of the day. Not going to fool myself into thinking I'm making a difference by playing around with a pick your poison ritual every four years regardless of tribalist NPCs from either side shrieking about people not voting. - Moloch or Baal, it's the same result either way.

The autopen is not the part that is being challenged. Only the PRESIDENT can issue pardons. Not staffers or anyone else

You have a short memory because he did all he could for the BLM riots, He was hamstrung a lot by state governors denying him and saying "no you can't use the state's national guard to quell the riots"

I honestly think that already have and that is why all this is happening.

I woiuld not be surprised if that is why Hunter’s Pardon was clearly Joe.
