Reps controlled the Presidency, but Dems held the House until '94, and only got the Senate during most of Reagan's terms. Doesn't really change your point, it was just they had the excuse of Dems blocking them.
i'm not buying it either, the GOP is so full of retards the concept of down ballot races being important never occurred to them?
Josh stole my line.
Josh is pretty fucking dumb

Plus, martyring Trump(or any in his camp tbf but mainly him or Vance) will likely cause the tepid, middle of the pack types to strongly move right and support any retaliatory actions
The hope the Uniparty has there is to stop MAGA from solidifying and there's a lot of GOPe losers that would discreetly support Trump getting iced so they could go back to being the Washington Generals. They do not like Trump not liking war or his stance on the massive grifting machine.

I believe that if every citizen was armed, that crime rates and shootings would actually become rare.
Without a proper mental health system that addresses and controls schizophrenics? Fat chance.

However, if everyone had the right to carry loaded weapons on them on public, mass shootings would end in seconds, with the perpetrator becoming a cheese grater made out of flesh.

That alone would be really cool and based, not gonna lie.

It wouldn't stop all crime, but you wouldn't see news stories about some future scholar with 81 felonies on his rap sheet getting released on bond after being arrested for number 82. Not for a lack of trying, but they would be retired from the game before reaching double digits in the first place.

A federal judge who's been a critical ally to the deep state has preemptively blocked the Trump administration from deporting five Venezuelan nationals under the Alien Enemies Act (AEA) of 1978.

US District Judge James Boasberg (more on that below) issued his preemptive ruling a few hours after the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) filed a motion on the Venezuelans' behalf against Trump's reported plan to invoke the AEA to accelerate the removal of illegals from the US.

The ACLU asked Boasberg to block the use of the law, though Trump has yet to invoke it. Boasberg, of course, complied, granting a restraining order Saturday morning that prevents the administration from removing the five Venezuelan nationals for two weeks so the judge can hold a hearing on their challenge.

In their filing, the ACLU, alongside Democracy Forward and the ACLU of the District of Columbia, stated that the government has moved the Venezuelans - alleged members of Tren De Aragua, to a facility in Texas, which they state are being used "as staging facilities to remove Venezuelan men under the AEA."

Of note, the Trump administration officially declared Tren de Aragua a terrorist organization last month.

If the name Boasberg rings a bell, refresh your memory below...
Boasberg is the judge who was in charge of FISA when it was being used to illegally spy on Trump as part of an operation to overthrow the president. https://t.co/btXKlSfqB6

The ACLU's wish is his command!
At what point does Trump just tells the activist judge class to fuck off. If they wanna enforce their orders, come up and get me.

Inspira Health Network in NJ is giving this out to new parents as part of their "required" forms to fill out. They are attempting to state that its required by the state, but no other health care system is sending these notices out.

...infants don't even have a grasp on object permanence, yet they're expected to know their gender identity? Da fuck loony toons bullsh!t is this? 😵‍💫

Whoever came up with this questionnaire, send them to the gulags.

The art of war is like 70 pages lol

Edit: it also lacks contextual information that would make it relevant. That's a retarded suggestion.
Ok, can you name a single book that is more useful to a child’s education that schools already provide? It’s a step above at the very least.

Just looking at how republicans were president for almost the entire cold war era, its rather telling that it didn't do shit for this country, the march through institutions mainly occurred during that era with the pushback only starting once Clinton got in office.
Funny how making a single issue (anti-communism) your Party's brand for 45 years exposes you as domestic do-nothings when your geopolitical foe implodes.

Domestically (and especially once the evangelicals began to vote), the GOP whined about abortion and "smaller government" while doing bugger all about them. (Although he would never have admitted it, abortion became to Republicans what Rush Limbaugh said other issues were to Democrats, i.e., not a problem to be solved, but a problem to fundraise off of.)

Then the GWOT and interventionism on a retarded scale became the GOP's brand, and to the Establishment Republicans, it still is. Trump’s overturning their nice tea cart has exposed them for what they really are and about whom they really care (hint: it's not about people below the highest ranks of the PMC).

There is no fucking plausible way this isn't some kind of advanced trolling, but I suppose insurance companies force such kind of questions to see which newborn is going to be a liability (healthy) or a cash cow (potential troon/fag)

another thing to point out is how the GOP only won the popular vote twice after the berlin wall fell, they went from winning near every state in the electoral college, to not even winning the popular vote because of how badly they were caught with their pants down once the cold war ended.

by all accounts the GOP was slowly but surely dying until trump came along.

After slaying ISIS, apparently the POTUS is going hellfire on the houthis. Open season!

'Hell will rain down upon you,' Trump orders US military to launch 'powerful' action against Houthis in Yemen (A)
US President Donald Trump on Saturday (March 15) wrote on his Truth Social media platform that he has ordered the US military to launch “decisive and powerful Military action” against Houthi rebels in Yemen.

The US president accused the Iranian-backed militia of waging “an unrelenting campaign of piracy, violence, and terrorism against American, and other, ships, aircraft, and drones.”

He also accused his predecessor “weak” Joe Biden of keeping the “unrestrained” Houthis going.

“It has been over a year since a U.S. flagged commercial ship safely sailed through the Suez Canal, the Red Sea, or the Gulf of Aden. The last American Warship to go through the Red Sea, four months ago, was attacked by the Houthis over a dozen times. Funded by Iran, the Houthi thugs have fired missiles at U.S. aircraft, and targeted our Troops and Allies. These relentless assaults have cost the U.S. and World Economy many BILLIONS of Dollars while, at the same time, putting innocent lives at risk,” Trump wrote.
