WTF is happening with Eric Adams? I thought he was a piece of shit, why are people trying to tote him around like he's standing up to the left? At this point, if he knows what's good for him, he should just go full MAGA.
He basically said all the illegals were hurting the city he crime is apostasy and bending the knee to work with trump.

I don't want Trump to have a third term because I don't want some dem mongoloid in the future to have a chance at a third term either.
Don't take power you wouldn't give to your enemies.
I'll be voting Vance in 2028 barring disappointments or fuck ups during his run as VP. Hopefully he'll properly carry the torch forward to the next stage.
We don't need another FDR, good God no. I think a singular 8 year term (Maybe 10, IDK which would be better) would be better for President. Re-election campaigns introduces problems with democracy discussed by Hoppe. Also put an age cap on the president. I like Trump and all but he's almost 80. Of the original founding presidents, they were all 57-61 as presidents so maybe an age cap of 65 would work and the oldest a president can theoretically be is 73.

He's a corrupt tool of a person that realistically shouldn't be trusted with anything but right now the position he holds along with the power attached to it is useful from a pragmatical standpoint.

Showed my kids some Latvianimation movie this weekend. It was like ps2 quality machinima

You know what, though?

It is existed, wasn’t from the 70’s, and wasn’t based on trying to normalize underage nudity like basically all continental European movies
So did they all die at the end, or what?

Flow had some weird messages. Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but:
  • Cat lives peacefully without harming anyone, may have lost its owner, goes through an adventure and gets PTSD, and then it just loops at the end.
  • Secretarybird is punished for standing up for someone weak, loses her family, loses her found family, is punished for listening to a friend, and has an all-around bad time for doing one act of kindness
  • Labrador is punished for trusting his old friends, implying found family is better than your original one, or something
  • Lemur loses his precious things one by one, but in the end instead just "Don't be materialistic" it seems to imply "Own nothing, be happy"
  • Cappy, who is originally depicted as a selfless and gentle hero, is treated like an idiot or something at the end. It's weird what they do with him.
  • Whale-thing dies when the water goes away

He's 80 and yet he's doing perfectly fine. I don't care about age. I care about ability to carry out his duty and cognitive capacity.
I don't know how to resolve this without cognitive function tests, etc.
But if I hadn't been able to vote for Trump, the best candidate in my view, because he was "too old" despite being in good health and full function I would have been pissed.

Edit: Meret's problem isn't that she's vegan (though it probably doesn't help) it's that she's anorexic. Although I've seen plenty of anorexics who adopt veganism alongside as a form of orthorexia as well. Fit Vegan Ginger is another example of this. She has a thread here. It's just another manifestation of the eating disorder and control over their diet.

The Trump Train is going so fast I am starting to believe everyone in the world, including this very fast moving thread, is unable to keep up. The media is reporting on 2 day old stories, which is like reporting on last week's events. Reddit and Lefty X are harping on about eggs, salutes, and the mere concept of DOGE and Elon existing. They are in the dust, broken and useless. I am fully content with taking my ear off the ground and letting things play out, no longer having to worry about every news story. Ride the train.

Trump's talked about constitutional amendment would only allow non-consecutive term holding presidents to be eligible for a 3rd term, and there's only ever been 2 of those, so no, no it wouldn't benefit democrats at all.

Germany has birthed some of the best and brightest philosophers, Goethe, Schopenhauer, Kant, Hegel, and Nacho.
booooooring

and my favorite, Wagner
you just like him for his raging antisemitism and racism. it’s always the same with you people

i’d say Mozart is the prime example of a German composer because of his fart and poop obsession. german moment

I thought it was shitposting at first because of how wrong it was, lol.
yeah weird how i’m judging the value of a culture based on things that happened in the last few decades and not hundreds of years ago

If you think dems wouldn't immediately jump to take advantage of this by intentionally not running for a second term and letting another dem run instead so they're not "consecutive" you are naive.

The bird goes to heaven, and is the only one who does, so I’d say the rest of the main crew were shown the correct path.

Definitely all the other lemurs are going to hell, and the other dogs better shape their shit up.

The cat began the movie being neurotically terrified of everything and showed the most progress by the end, becoming more proactive in how it approaches the world.

Pretty sure in Russia, Putin just loopholed this by putting his right-hand man Medvedev as President while he camped out as Prime Minister (And changed some laws allowing him to have consecutive terms) until he ran for President and won.
