IDK why but this reminded me of this, some days I really do miss Biden, not him being in charge that was a nightmare but If grandpa biden was still given speeches telling us how you dident used to be able to buy a cannon back in the day id kinda like that, get a video of him tripping up some stair every now and again.

Our elections are so fucked man. Went on ballotpedia to find some information -- horrible idea, barely tells you anything -- and the only information I could find are LinkedIn's or scandals. Did you know one of the two democratic County Judges participates in lawfare to kick other candidates out from their primary?

They're fucking nerds and can't hurt anybody but they really really want to. The normal, stupid way to do that via politics is to be a tankie or nazi or Hillary stan or whatever. The clever way is to subcontract the oppression of your fellow citizens to Exxon and Thiel and immigrants and throw your hands up like "nobody made them do it and nobody made you the victim of it."

I don't think it's hypocritical to have different standards for behavior for anon image boards, anonymous twitter accounts, and then accounts directly linked to you employer.

I don't expect to get praise from leftist if I post some meme dancing on the grave of Joe Biden when he dies on some anonymous forum. I expect them to call me a piece of shit and then move on, just like I'd do the same for them meming about Kirk. I expect a wholly different set of consequences if I did the same on a work account or one publicly linked to my employer and I don't think it's hypocritical to expect them to get the same treatment.

I voted today in Texas' election. Nothing too major. just a bunch of props. Voted no on Pro Q, 1, 4, 12, 14, and 15.
Prop Q is exclusive to Travis county. Its about siphoning money off per $100 or so to give to solving homelessness. no thanks.
