I'm really starting to lean into my gun analogy here because it just clicks in my head and helps to articulate my thoughts about why what is about too happen is not hypocritical.
A responsible gun owner understands that a Gun is not a toy. It is a weapon. One that should not be wielded for light and transient causes, and certainly not against those who do not threaten your life and property. Sure, if your neighbor is blaring music across the street at 3 AM its annoying and you probably hate them. Even yell at them too shut the fuck up. But you don't take out guns and start opening fire.
Government in the Right Wing context is the same thing. Right Wingers have always avoided using it too impose their vision because it would be akin to imposing their vision with a Gun. The Government is also a tool for violence. We could even say that the Government is the ULTIMATE tool for violence. Its not just "A" Gun. It is "ALL" the Guns. And even though the Left Wing were obnoxious faggots, there was always the belief that there could be the reasoned position. That the center would ultimately hold and that we should not resort to using the Government too get what we want.
But the Biden years betrayed this idea. And now even Google are admitting to how the Left Wing fully embraced using the Government to get what they want. Which we always suspected and knew at an intellectual level, but to see it in black and white is still appalling. Especially coming on the heels of one of the Right Wings best political organizers getting shot in the throat for daring to speak to the left wing.
This isn't the neighbors blaring music at 3 AM anymore. This is the neighbors mag dumping into our living room from across the street. The rules of engagement have changed.
I don't want to hear anymore Libertarian Arguments about "What if the Boot is on the other foot". My bothers in Christ, the boot IS on the other foot. Right now. Its on OUR foot, and if we don't use it, it WILL BE USED AGAINST US. Because the Left has already demonstrated its willingness too use the boot by USING THE BOOT. Respecting the power of a weapon does not mean utter refusal to use the weapon. Part of respecting the power of a weapon is too understand when it is time to use it.
That time is now. The Right MUST use the Government in its full unrestrained power against the left wing. Come what may. We have no choice. We have been GIVEN no choice.
