Also the reason how the glowies could get J6ers easy is because it was protest organised by Trump himself, they already had eyes of who was coming into town the days leading up to it.

Charlie's assassin will be harder because why would the FBI have eyes on Charlie himself?

My older siblings had a rabbit once, Brownie. Brownie ran away one day and never came back. About 15 years later during thanksgiving feast mom finally let’s the truth be known Brownie had bit her so, being the hard woman from a impoverished childhood she was, she killed and dressed Brownie and fed him to our siblings as ‘special chicken’.

That was an unforgettable moment.

All of the regular posters here in the containment thread suffer from reaching a consensus and re-inforcing that consensus having people push back to break group think. Back during the 2020 elections, there were posters like HHH and others that were able to make arguments. I remember one poster making a very good point that trump was going to have to go into court and prove his claim....till the supreme court pussed out.

I didnt like people taging HHH into the thread because its like saying fucking beatlejuice

I also found the slap fights to increase the noise to signal ratio.

Slight detour here. I watched the Debate forum on something awful purity spiral itself

For example they would watch this documentary.


they would talk about how its strange black people would be shot. The wonderful zimmerman case etc.

Then they would do a ritual where people would bet their account on who would win the election. The famous Toxxx clause.

Then trump won and the mod who were all lefties back out of tradition till lowtax rose from his sumlber to say "WHERE IS MY MONEY!!!"

Zen Death Robot cucked him though.

HHH would be a good influence here, but for some reason he wants shout the word fat, senile and pedofile. A classic SA mod would start slapping him for being annoying because we can all agree just posting that on repeat is not productive.

But then people would learn the way to win the debate is to get on the mod team, and then you can mod your way to winning.

Thats why happened to online discourse the mods took over and pushed a world view that conflicts with reality.

The left thinks complex systems are static unless acted upon.
They do not believe in second order knock on effects.

They pulled the "kill the nazi fascist chud" lever, and the standard approved rules based response the complex system -- the conservative right in America in this case -- is allowed to have is to "thoughts and prayers and let it go."

I don't think the right is going to let this one go. This was the debate bro. They killed the living avatar of the moderate center-right. The left expects the system -- the right -- to be static, to continue putting up with the consequences of the left, only now without the highly effective Charlie Kirk. The right isn't supposed to do anything. You can see this because of how they're reacting -- posting laughing mocking sneering tweets under "#CharlieSquirt" and the like.

The left isn't going to like what happens next. They killed the moderate. The overton window now slides because there is no moderate. That brings the far right and even the alt-right into the frame. This is the exact opposite of what they have been doing for a few decades by pretending there's no difference between White Identitarians, White Nationalists, White Supremacists, and the like.
 
There is some speculation that FBI has the guy but wants to bait or observe the shooters behavior....the current engagement with the public is a front to lull the shooter into complacency....

.....(Probably not true but fuck I wish....)

I am finding the ability to have civil discourse anywhere is just not happening if both sides don’t agree 85-90% on the issues. That’s not just a USPG2 problem that is an everywhere problem. People increasingly see opposite viewpoints in a contemptuous way and even more so will absolutely argue from a place of perceived superiority regardless of their actual expertise or education on an issue. It isn’t about collecting information and facts that provide an accurate view it is about collecting information that confirms your bias.

Now that isn’t to say USPG2 kiwis are the same as idiots on reddit who constantly argue not to debate but to talk past each other and score karma points, but when so much of the discourse in society is coming from bad faith actors you kinda just close yourself off to even trying to being open to actually seeing ‘the other side’ because the argument will always be disingenuous and two seconds from just calling you a nazi bigot who wants innocent people to die so like, what’s the point anymore?

That’s not enjoyable, that’s not elucidating or anything but being the punching bag someone else can validate their worldview and feel victorious over. That’s why even longtime friends and even family are falling out nowadays.
