Oddly, and I think largely by the influence of Hans-Herman Hoppe, many of them have found a way to contort ancapism into the belief that we should strictly enforce a border, disregard democracy as a value, and sort of collectively discriminate against ideologies and people that would be contrary to our local interests. In my opinion there are heavy contradictions in that school of thought but it does at least allow them to be libertarian while also advocating for things that aren't just shooting ourselves in the foot like open borders.
