I don't always agree with this, which American worker? The one making 20/hr in IT or coding or something with a certification they grinded for and no colleg/denbt, or the one making 40/hr with a mindless union job where they get high and move identical items for 8hr, or the one making 12/hr in food service with a degree in interpretive buttcare and 750,000 in student loan denbt? These people each benefit from very, very different economic conditions.
Until US wages inflate to the same level as everything else, protectionism will be the heartbeat of US politics. All of those categories will see an increase in wages, as the labor pool is reduced via immigration controls, and tariffs.

Your grandparents could buy a house, and vacation(go on holiday Eurofags) on the wage of a single bagger at the grocery store.

Supreme Court Sides against Boasberg. Roberts continues to be impotent:

More specifically, they vacated the order. Stated that deportations under the Alien Enemies Act are precluded from judicial review.

Ace has the deets.

Ace of Spades dijo:
The Court ruled that deportations under the Alien Enemies Act have, historically, "largely been precluded from judicial review," so the judges who keep claiming they have jurisdiction are wrong and asserting power they just don't have.

The court allows that there is some possible relief for a claimed false deportation, but that relief must come by way of a habeas corpus petition, not a TRO filed in a district court.

The Court specifically mentions venue. In a habeas filing, the court with jurisdiction is a court with jurisdiction over the physical part of the country that the person is actually being detained in. So someone detained in Texas must file a habeas petition with a Texas court.

They cannot just keeping filing TRO's in the packed-and-stacked leftwing DC courts.

That's a big deal. Most cases will heard by less partisan courts.

I'm still waiting for the Sudden Twitter Experts to tell me the difference between a TRO hearing and habeas corpus hearing. Some have noted that the Sudden Twitter Expertise in egg prices have exchanged that for a Sudden Twitter Expertise in tariffs. I'm sure that some will quickly cash that out for a Sudden Twitter Expertise in habeas petitions.

I think one big difference is that a habeas petition can't result in "emergency" relief before an actual hearing on the merits. In other words, relief can only be had once you've actually proven your case in a hearing. A judge can't just say "Well I think that when we have the hearing you'll probably win so here's your Emergency Temporary Relief in the meantime," which is the rule behind all of these emergency temporary restraining orders.

This certainly seems like this will sharply limit judicial activism on this front.

But I do await the Sudden Twitter Experts on Habeas Corpus Hearings for confirmation.

The decision was 5-4.

Guess who joined the leftists, again?

Yeah, it was fucking ACB. Trump is probably regretting that one.

If any future United States President doesn't use the Alien Enemies Act to deal with deportations it's probably fair to say they don't care enough about addressing illegal immigration. Trump has set a new standard on the matter.

I KNOW yall hate to hear that and wanna call me dumb and anti American and all the rest, please listen with an open heart, im not going to powerlevel but I consider myself a devoted patriot for many reasons and in that regard every single American service member death, in theater or otherwise keeps me up at night.
I don't agree with your conclusions, but I don't think anything you said is anti-American.

Those 30,000+ men died to prove that nobody attacks US soil and lives, nor will the response ever be in equal proportion. New Yorkers experienced hell for a day. The middle east experienced hell for a decade in retaliation. We lost thousands of civilians. They lost over a million. Bin Laden is dead, Saddam is dead. His kingdom lies in ruins, in the hand of his enemies. Entire generations of the Taliban were killed. Their fighters grew to fear sunny skies because of American drones.

I don't want to minimize the cost of this. But they didn't die for nothing.

While I'm not confident it could be this also happens with those 3 Boasberg shit orders. The SCOTUS can't just sit there and let some mid level judge over-rule the POTUS as the precedent it sets is very dangerous but Roberts isn't going to want to hand Trump any wins so my vaguely drunken view is that Roberts cucks again and ACB is forced again to be the bad conservative.
It's not about handing Trump a win. Handing Republican district judges in Alabama the legal precedent to issue nationwide injunctions on gun restrictions, drug laws, faggot rights, voting laws, immigation and abortion is too much for the uniparty. The true believers are out of line, and even though he votes against Trump when he can safely do so he knows what's up.

Writing yourself another victory weather boy? Sunny with a side of optimism and hebraicism? The tariffs are still a complete failure, calling it a success after 3 days is a joke.

Honestly, why are you mad? Didn't the U.S. line actually go up despite speculation? I figured, at the very least, you'd be more neutral today.

ETA: Nevermind. I just saw the post where you said your losses went from $400 to $8,000. For the love of God man, stop with the gambling. It's fucking with you bad.

I'd feel safer there than in a car made by jeets

Are people finally gonna stop worshipping this lolbert fossil just because he said the government was bad 20 years ago?
It's happening ass hat. Ron Paul 2008.

You can go on factory tours, line workers could be replaced by well trained monkeys. It doesn't fucking matter. All they do is take trim piece, slap into door panel. Maybe take torque drill and pull trigger on bolt until it beeps, if they cause enough green smiley faces or plus signs (good boy points for line workers). Milling and tooling is all computer controlled, with gcode written by engineers.

The QC issues mostly come from poor engineering and materials. It's not even an issue of planned obsolescence, they want these cars to fail around 200k and start having minor issues around 100-120k. Sub 100k catastrophic driveline failures look bad and drive off customers. It's not competitive.

The fucking engineers still live in the vicinity of Southeast Niggerville, MI (or wherever the particular org in question builds and engineers), they're just gradually being outsourced and replaced by jeets who have fake degrees, and probably either retiring or moving on, and all drive a half an hour plus down the same psychopathic lethal 95mph commute and don't stop until they get to their facility with a big spiky fence and private security.

The thing is, if the proper measures are taken to deincentivize + incentivize against this, like killing DEI and cancelling H1B, then manufacturers would suddenly find their quality needs met with no issue. Final assembly is so controlled and simple that the most the lineplebs can actually do without authentic, visible, actionable malice is scuff the paint on accident.

The optics of Trump going in place of someone from the Biden administration would’ve made it look like the Biden admin didn’t care at all about Japan, similar to when Trump visited the border before Kamala Harris ever did.
Yes it was petty, but they couldn’t afford to give him an inch. The funny part is it just made them look even worse, like everything they did
Seems to me there was always the third option of sending trump and some one else given that trump was explicitly invited if I remember correctly
