Ms. Baker now volunteers as a manager for OneAid, which helps former U.S.A.I.D. workers, and works nine hours a week as a companion for two elderly women.

The other thing, and it's the main reason boomers are blamed/cause everything, is that boomers actually have something to lose. They have pensions, 401(k)s, IRAs, stock portfolios, real estate...their livelihood could be damaged by being outed as a racist. They are afraid because they HAVE something to lose in the first place.
