These stupid fraks were the ones who said "learn to code" to poor Americans who were losing their jobs. Why should we feel anything but contempt for these assholes?

People have plowed through savings, cashed out retirement funds and moved in with relatives. Former U.S.A.I.D. workers estimate that less than half have found full-time work.

AHAHAHAHAHAHA

She was fired by email while on maternity leave, given 24 hours to clear out her desk and left with three days of health insurance and no severance pay. She had worked for the U.S. Agency for International Development or related groups for more than two decades. She made $175,000 a year.

That was Jan. 28, 2025. Today Amy Uccello and her husband, who also lost his job when U.S.A.I.D. funding for his nonprofit dried up, rely on food stamps, Medicaid and a supplemental nutrition program for women and children that helps with their now 19-month-old daughter.

US AID propped up the husband's NGO. Now that the gravy train is over they are on welfare!!!!!!!

She and her husband have applied for more than 100 jobs with no luck. Most of their friends don’t have jobs either.

Sucks doesn't it lololololololol.

When the Trump administration dismantled the sprawling global aid agency last year, it wiped out virtually an entire industry — international development — that had been based in Washington since U.S.A.I.D.’s creation in 1961 under President John F. Kennedy. Nearly all of the agency’s 16,000 employees were laid off. An estimated 280,000 contractors, partners and local hires worldwide lost their jobs as well.

The fat was trimmed!!!!

The District of Columbia currently has the highest unemployment rate in the nation, at 6.7 percent, in large part because of major reductions in the federal work force, including U.S.A.I.D., and cuts to government grants and contracts.

Jobs are also gone at the many nonprofits and partner agencies once funded by U.S.A.I.D. “Everyone I know is also up the creek, all my bosses, my mentors, the people you would normally go to, the people providing me references,” said Catherine Baker, 36, who, as a contractor, made $127,000 a year recruiting staff and helping to start up U.S.A.I.D. projects. Ms. Baker now volunteers as a manager for OneAid, which helps former U.S.A.I.D. workers, and works nine hours a week as a companion for two elderly women.

What a gig. Getting paid 6 digits to spread fraud.

Many said they were still dealing with mental trauma and a loss of confidence in their professional abilities after brutal job hunts.

Couldn't happen to a more deserving group of people.

Others acknowledged that there was bloat and waste in the agency and a need for reform. Much of the $35 billion it managed in 2024 went to Washington-based contractors, not directly to people in need overseas. The success of many projects was hard to measure.

Holy shit!!!!! One of them openly admitted it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

U.S.A.I.D. workers who once thought of themselves as ambassadors for American “soft power” said they worried about the trust in the United States that was lost overseas.

Another admission!!!!!

Sheryl Cowan, 57, was making $272,000 a year as a senior vice president at a U.S.A.I.D.-funded nonprofit when she was let go at the end of March 2025. Last month she had an online interview for a $19-an-hour job managing a Penzeys Spices store near her home in Falls Church, Va.

She has learned from online webinars on job hunting that her three decades of work in international development, including as the Peace Corps country director for Benin, need to be papered over on her résumé.

Because it wasn't real work.

Don Niss, 56, spent 21 years at U.S.A.I.D., including three years managing the agency’s billion-dollar budgets for Afghanistan and Pakistan. Last year he was making $195,000 annually as a U.S.A.I.D. development adviser at the Pentagon.

Wow, now we know why the DNC roached the hell out after the shut down.

Imagine thinking the GOPe is actually religious instead of a bunch of poser assholes who couldn't get Roe Vs Wade overturned when a guy from New York who has never read the bible did it easily. The "RELIGIOUS RIGHT" accomplished exactly zero things during the Bush years.
My problem is that many of the same religious right from the Dubya years are still in power. Many of these guys and zionists are in so deep with both parties despite needing to go back in 2012 have instead clung onto power because they own the media establishment still.

I don't see much condemnation when Ukrain tourtured and killed CRP. She seemed to be a bigger dumb ass than him by loitering around the target zone for an airstrike.

Did she think they would stop the attack because she was there or did she willingly want to be martyred?
She was investigating areas that were already hit that day, so it really shouldn't be surprising that it was hit again while she was there. Her spin was "Israel is targeting CIVILIANS and their HOMES and CARS" when I'm pretty sure Hezbollah is made up of civilian terrorists in the first place, so again, not surprising.

No increase to SNAP funding or eligibility, no other hot foods allowed.

No, she is a special brand of stupid. The most common way a Journalist gets killed is hanging around Hamas at the wrong time. Hamas also passes off their own propagandists as journalists to pad out that number.
What, is this true? I see a lot of "Israel killed most journalists", so i wondered what was that about.
Yeah but (most) jews put their scizophrenic collectivist revenge fantasies for what we did to them hundreds to thousands of years ago over their wealth, and liberal women put social posturing over their safety.
Seeing how blacks (and hispanics) were a net drain to our budget was eye opening (combined with IQ and crime rate). I know it's a very jewish thing to worry about, but i don't care. Not to powerlevel but i don't make much, just jewish median income. Which is 80K higher than black people.

White women actually voted for Trump- i think 40% of white men and 47% of white women voted for Harris. Given Harris is a woman, the gap is smaller than you would think.

But yeah. Why do we have to live like this?

Can we come up with a term for this? Jewcel? Or something? Goycel? That always blames Jews for their own problems? If a man can do that about women which is even more warranted usually surely this can be done.
This is peak irony.

Because Boomers are afraid of being called a racist.

Once the response to being called a racist is "So?" or "According to who?" then we stop living in a stagnant shithole.
The power of the "Yes, and?" is unfathomable. Being called a racist is supposed to be a knife to the heart, to force someone to cower and grovel. If it doesn't work, they have nothing else.

You blame boomers, despite them being much whiter than younger generations.
Well yeah, "white people are the only racists" so they would be sensitive to being called a racist. White people are also the only ones not allowed to be racist these days.

I honestly don't care if a spic is "based racist" or whatever.
The other thing, and it's the main reason boomers are blamed/cause everything, is that boomers actually have something to lose. They have pensions, 401(k)s, IRAs, stock portfolios, real estate...their livelihood could be damaged by being outed as a racist. They are afraid because they HAVE something to lose in the first place.
