One of my favorite anecdotes from Commodore Perry's 'visits' to Japan was the second one, where both the Japanese and Americans put on cultural displays for each orher. The Japanese put on a sumo wrestling match and the Americans put some sailors in blackface and performed a relatively high production value minstrel show.
My favorite thing is the depictions of him; Japanese would sometimes depict westerners with blue eyes. That sounds normal, right? Well, not the irises, the whites of their eyes would be blue:

I guess the japanese possibly just didn't know what it actually meant for someone to have blue eyes and assumed it must have been the other part after hearing depictions...or they just wanted to make them look like monsters. Case in point (perry's on the right...I think):

Here's an actual picture:

As you can see, that first depiction is actually pretty good; there's different versions of it with and without the blue eyes, so I think the blue eyes thing was just a trope. Perry's expedition is one of my favorite historical events.

Services and the economy at large, do not scale like software. So you have liquidity but nothing to buy. So he is banking on output of goods and services will outpace money supply growth. It won't. And when you have liquidity, like stimmy checks or high income(lol), smart people, not niggers, buy assets. Not goods and services. Things that matter, schooling(i guess), housing, probably utilities, will go up. But hey, you can buy the cheap ai temu shit to fill your rented shit hovel and drown your sorrows with goyderade.

I assume he wants to have the government or private entity divvy out the money. Play that out in your head to the logical conclusion (hint: we all become Josh)

What a retarded faggot.

So this is what Congress is going to do instead of working until midterms. I'm super grateful a bunch of sex pests will be calling each other degenerates instead of passing budgets and bills.

I already know you're all a bunch of degenerate retards, just do what I want, collect a check and then go home to your gay BDSM dungeons. Stop finding any excuse to NOT do your jobs.
God I hate this performative horseshit. TAKE HIM TO COURT. CHARGE HIM WITH A CRIME. PROSECUTE HIM. Present evidence. Provide receipts. In a criminal court. Upon conviction, impeach/eject him. This "ethics subcommittee" garbage achieves nothing. Literally nothing. Less than nothing, in fact. It wastes taxpayer money.
The point of recommending them to a committee is to bypass the courts and authorities. It's how Congress holds its own accountable. The idea is to build enough pressure on the person to get them to resign before anything life ruining is revealed. You can be upset by this all you want, but it's how the game is played. Don't have hard evidence? Sidestep the legal process, and recommend the person to a ethics committee. It's stupid but it's how this works. I still would prefer if they just voted for DHS funding and the SAVE act.....
The auto-pen, duh. It probably already wrote it.
Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas has given a rare speech and interview, and he goes scorched earth in his own inestimable way.
This is a good sign. Hopefully him coming out and blatantly signaling against progressiveism/leftism gives others the confidence to take an actual stand.

I would not trade my access to American Healthcare for anything. It's invaluable to people looking to take charge of their own health and not just be stuck with what's "approved" and "safe". Or what government insurance decides you should be able to get.
This was an excellent post exploring US Healthcare. As I work on the Frontline in EMS, I'm overwhelmingly exposed to rampant Medicare and Medicaid fraud. I'm going to just vomit out my last two (bullshit) calls for you people to consider whether or not we actually have a broken system, or if we should be hacking people to death with machetes for a year or two. I am still at work for the next 45 minutes, forgive the aggravation.

Walmart parking lot, 9:30PM. Who the fuck goes to Walmart this late. Illegal family of 4. Mother and father piki no ingli (patients are Spanish speaking.) Minor MVA, in a parking lot. Maybe 10 mph. All 4 patients want ambulance transport to the hospital for made up injuries so they can sue. By the time everything is said and done between the ambulance and the ER there will probably be over $30,000 of medical bills that go completely unpaid. This will be subsidized by car insurance rates skyrocketing because it was a car accident and MVAs bill through that. Good luck to anyone in the area who has Progressive, Guadalupe and Cesar wanted to pull a Russell Greer.

4AM. Regular COPD patient calls. Short of breath. Is smoking on oxygen when I arrive. White trash. Resist urge to suffocate patient. Albuterol neb and transport to local ER. She will be there for several days. She will rack up roughly $100,000 in medical bills. This is the 20th time we've transported this exact wheezing sack of shit in the past calendar year. She is on Medicaid and Medicare. She has cost the taxpayer millions of dollars.

What do we do with these people? They either knowingly abuse the system that they shouldn't even be part of, or are so dumb and self-destructive while also refusing to die. How the fuck are we supposed to bear the weight of the largest generation in human history reaching old age while ALSO supporting the largest welfare leaching immigrant population on the planet?

They all seek emergency care as well, which costs more because it's emergency care, of course. They refuse to wait a few hours at urgent care or see a primary. These same people have the audacity to complain on reddit and act like it's capitalism that's the problem when they're misusing a system that has no ability to say "no." (See EMTALA law)

Is our system really that broken, or do people just want to utilize an overtaxed system to push Marxist ideas? Remember, the left loves to break things so they can "fix" it in a way that leaves them in charge, if not at all fixed.

Well, that took like 15 minutes. I'm gonna go clean out my ambulance and go home. See you after I sleep for a bit kiwis.

I'm well aware that's how "the game" is played. "The game" sucks and anybody being dragged through it like this should feel free (and proud) to simply ignore it and tell anyone who complains to fuck off. Seriously ... WTF is the "ethics subcommittee" even going to do? Who fucking cares? The fact Congress even has the balls to put on that kind of dog & pony show to begin with is a slap in every American's face.

I genuinely wish I was a congresscritter right now, just so these faggots could accuse me of random shit and go play "ethics committee" so I could straight-up ignore it, and when asked for comment by the lügenpresse simply respond "I don't play gossip games; ask me again when a court issues a warrant and I can have a defense attorney give you a statement."

ETA:

Dude, back when Walmart was still a 24/7 store and I still did DJ and karaoke hosting gigs at local bars, Walmart being open at 2:30am after a show was a fucking godsend. Plus I was in a college town at that time of my life, so I also got to enjoy watching idiot college girls strolling around the aisles (either stoned or drunk or high) in their pajamas oblivious to whichever body parts they had flopping around while I picked out a quick snack to munch on before bed.

That was before niggers really took over though, so it was still entertaining (and safe) to go out people watching.

I'm well aware that's how "the game" is played.
You say this, but follow up with.
WTF is the "ethics subcommittee" even going to do?
....you don't get it then. The subcommittee has the power to issue subpoenas and launch investigations. They will dig and find dirt and then show you said dirt before asking you, "ok buddy do you want everyone to know you fuck trannies and make black people pepperoni in your basement? If not you better step down.". A lot, no, most of Congress is contemptible as hell and have lots of skeletons in their closets. The recent ousting of several members and now this might indicate that they are going to make a trend of doing this to each other, they smell blood in the water. Depending on how much this escalates it can even have ripple effects on midterms. I said I would rather they just pass budgets/laws, I didn't say this was insignificant trend. Feel free to call it stupid if you want.
"I don't play gossip games; ask me again when a court issues a warrant and I can have a defense attorney give you a statement."
That works when the worst you've done is cheat on your spouse, that's reprehensible but not illegal. What about when it's found that you were getting millions in gifts classified as "charitable donations" that you didn't pay taxes on Or that you ran over your sister in middle school but your rich parents bought off the cops, letting you skip out on homicide charges? These accusations can lead to real charges and eventually going to jail. Did you not notice that Sawell is facing criminal sexual assault charges?

You're missing the forest for the trees. But either way, all I was pointing out was they this trend is picking up steam and might by how Congress decides to play out the midterms and outst opponents.

Another potential victim of the Trump Curse?
Veteran political strategist James Carville believes that President Donald Trump won’t last much longer in office.

In an episode of Politicon’s Politics War Room published in full on Thursday, Carville, 81, said that he doesn’t see Trump, 79, finishing out his term as scheduled due to his declining mental faculties.

“I just don’t see this guy being President of the United States by this time next year,” the “Ragin’ Cajun” said. “And I increasingly believe that we’re on a much shorter leash than that.”

“It’s just the rate of deterioration. I don’t have to be a neurologist, anything like that. I mean, we’ve all seen it,” he continued. “And you’re looking at it right in front of your eyes. And it’s not wishful thinking, it’s not projecting. It’s just what’s happening.”
The Democratic strategist explained that over the last few weeks, Trump’s mental state has become even more concerning than previously believed.

“I think that he’s turned a corner, and turned a corner in a really substantial way,” he said. “It’s a bad situation right now, and honestly—I’ve cried wolf so many times, but I think this time it’s really the wolf. I really do."

IF AI and robotics were as powerful as they want it to be, it would be the only solution I can think of. But I think the guys pushing for UBI think we're a lot closer to a workless society than we are.
Or, and just hear me out, they kill everyone but the ultra-elite and the small caste of people who will serve as maintenance and supervision crews for the robots.

I wonder which Democrat will be the next to be accused of sexual harassment:

Speaking of National Dems for a moment. We are approaching the era of sexual assault/rape allegations from the 2010-2012 era. What was the prominent event that Dems were involved in at the time?

Occupy Wall Street!!!

There was so much rape/sex assault going on at these protests that the organizers had to create "women-only" sleeping areas.

Breitbart had a ongoing list of crimes that were happening at these protests that the media at the time didn't report.

It's going to be a bloodbath for Dems for the next decade.

The clear answer is "we don't," but I don't get why people have, at this point, a hard time saying that.
