Boomers voting for the name they know are massively over represented in primary electorates because everyone else only votes in the general. TX is particularly bad about this.
You also have the problem of people not knowing who many local politicians are and what they stand for. Even I had no clue what my local county treasurer and politicians in local offices like that stood for. Luckily most ran unopposed, but I would hate to vote for a swamp creature like Tony Gonzalez by pure accident and ignorance because it's hard to find info on local county elections, but luckily a US rep is high profile enough that you can look up whoever is running. But unlike statewide elections, many local politicians don't even have campaign websites.
TX23 is 100% going to a runoff, Herrera has it this time if he can pump turnout and hammer Tony on the dead mistress
Yeah, if Brandon Herrera puts tons of effort into advertising and talking about Tony Gonzales's deadly affair with his mistress and informing the local boomers who vote for the incumbents every year of who Tony Gonzales really is. Tony is not only a RINO and swamp creature, but he's possibly a murderer who cheated on his wife. Who on earth would vote for somebody like that?

I mean, I get the idea, but doing this shit has always backfired on us in the past. Any reason why it won't this time?
Because we're doing things completly different? Because the people in charge have learned from the past? We've won every engagement with unimaginable overwhelming success but people are so buckbroken by unforced errors from retards like bush or obama that they think some fantastical disaster is always around the corner. The people calling the shots saw the same shit we saw and want to avoid it just as much as you do.

What determines a run off? 5 vote difference? 10?
Yeah, it needs to be >50%. Cornyn and Paxton are advancing to runoff since they each got 40-something with Cornyn edging out by a point. On the Democrat side, Crockett was decisively beaten by 8 points and already blames Republicans.

>a protracted war in middle east ending with libia 2.0
>dems winning midterms on fuck drump and nothing else platform
>the zionist gets impeached 122 times until his ass bleeds, an effective end to maga agenda, government too consumed with infighting to start another five wars like they would otherwise
>dems win 2028 election
>dem house, dem senate, dem president for 2 years, most ineffective administration in history, a massive crisis
>project america finally gets to decline into the trash can of history where it belongs
This is the dream at this point.
