The news keeps telling me he was legally carrying the gun, then I read somewhere that the police didn't find a driver's license or his concealed carry permit on his body. In my state, it's a crime to carry and not have your credentials, and it's the same with federally regulated firearms/accessoriess (machine guns, silencers.) You are legally obligated to carry your "papers" with you at all times in these scenarios. It makes the 2A a 2nd class right, but that's the way the US has treated guns for the last few decades, especially the left.
I looked into Minnesota to see what their laws were, and it's what I thought.
Minn. Stat. § 624.714, subdivision 1b.
It's only a $25 penalty for a first offence, but it's an objective fact that he was not carrying the pistol lawfully assuming the police are correct in saying he wasn't carrying his ID/permit.

When he killed 2.25 creeps in Kenosha, every legal, media, institutional, and governmental outlet of the left frantically combed through every minute detail of every law, including their made up perceptions of laws, to find the needle in the haystack that could possibly lead to the kid's downfall. The weight of the US propaganda machine put it's knee to the neck of a 17 year old cherub until he couldn't breathe, just because they wanted to send a message to people that might agree with him that resistance to gay space communism will not be tolerated.
Remember all the claims? He crossed state lines! He's not old enough to carry a gun! He couldn't legally buy it! He can't have an assault weapon! He was violating curfew! He was a vigilante in a militia! He lied about being an EMT!
