It's funny how according to these well-read "students of history", current events are always, always analogous to the second World War rather than any other historical moment of the last 5000 years. Nobody ever says "I'm getting real Peter the Great vibes from this guy" or "this is just like when Bismarck..." or "my political opponent is the next Attila!"

I'm starting to think they got their entire understanding of the world from the History Channel in the 2000s.

RFK is out of committee 14-13. Next up, he has to be voted on by the full senate. IIRC Collins said she would vote yes which means that the Dems would need to poach 2 other Republicans Senators while also having Turtle and Murkowski vote no. He should be good.
