Why is that couple into star wars? Given how intelligent and free-thinking they've proven themselves to be by spending a ton of money on plastic crap models of a character designed solely to sell toys to idiots, I'd expect them to be more into Rick and Morty.
 
I love the fallout when you call these people out on what they really are like RLM did to Stuckman from Collider. You end up with a 6 minute video of a grown man crying, pissing and moaning. "I'm not upset, I'm not mad" then proceeds to make a 6 minute bitching video.

 
I hate mainstream nerds because they literally try to make shit out of nothing. Diverse fuckton of shit for no reason and then bitch about the situation even more about the problem.

It's literally because people don't know nerds, and they only joined up because they got bored of seeing the jocks fucking around with the cheerleader.
 
My experience of "nerd culture" pretty much boils down to the RLM Nerd Crew videos and the ever-increasing amounts of funko pop vinyls and other generic accessories in my local game store. The extent of my experience with the Funko pops is watching the employees add more to the pile; and watching the ones from long-neglected things like failed Multiplayer FPS Evolve gather dust.

Part of me is impressed that companies can make up so much shit to buy for everything, even a game like Evolve that nobody worth their salt seemed to have any faith in; but part of me is also impressed that they keep making new lines. Surely a business model that relies on over-saturating the market by making toys of even unproven properties cannot last too long, and I kind of want to see the bubble burst to the extent the Beanie Babies craze did in the late 90s.
