Avg Gas Prices 30-4-2026.png
The U.S. nationwide average gas price has climbed to $4.30 per gallon as of Thursday, according to data from the American Automobile Association (AAA), a four-year high, as American drivers feel the squeeze at the pump.

Gas prices rose 7¢ on Thursday, up from $4.23 on Wednesday, according to AAA data. The last time average U.S. gas prices topped $4.15 a gallon was in April 2022, shortly after Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Gas prices have been rising since the U.S. and Israel's war in Iran began on February 28, when a gallon cost $2.98.

For Americans looking carefully at what the consequences of the war would be on the nation’s economy, the apparently unstoppable climb in gas prices is further bad news, after the latest Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) data showed that inflation jumped to its highest level in two years in March, driven by coffee, fuel, and housing price hikes.

This rise in inflation, turbocharged by skyrocketing energy prices stemming from ongoing disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz, is reflected in President Donald Trump’s plummeting approval rating.

Be ready for 9/11 gas prices.
Won't get better even if you impeach Trump.
You have to end both wars & fix middle east.(isreal & Ukraine war)
9/11 prices were better than this. The real fear is that we'll be surpassing the 2022 high prices very soon and that they may remain elevated for a while. All the relief measures have been used, like the strategic oil reserves, so there aren't any levers to pull.

Most of the midwest is at $4.99 now.

And as much as I'd like to see it I don't think we'll be getting any of those promised rebate checks from the government.

Last time this happened we got all the best mopeds. Can't wait for more stupid conveyances to be invented.

Trump gay, so what.

I support Trump and I think he has done a lot of good since he came in.

The war in Iran is not one of those good things, and money is tight enough without spending $4+ dollars a gallon on gas. I hate that Trump has jews in his ear telling him that Israel is our greatest ally and that we have to be in the middle east.

I don't think anybody has actually been able to tell me what we gain from war in Iran. Everyone I see talk about it just says something along the lines of "muslims are our enemies and they deserve to die" which is true enough but if that's the case we should be detaining and deporting all the ones here inside our borders, not blowing up the ones doing fuck-all in some shithole country in the middle of nowhere. Or they say something about Iran having nuclear WMD's or the capabilities to produce them... weren't we making fun of Obama for saying that exact thing?

I feel like I've gone crazy. It's like you can't criticize anything the guy does.
There is nothing you're gaining from the war in Iran, its another Israel dicksucking exercise like the Iraq War and the Arab Spring. You're going to eat the cost of inflated oil prices and be forced to watch the sycophants claim everything is wonderful the whole time until public opinion is so violently against it that they'll suddenly claim they were against it the whole time just like they were with the Iraq War.

Easy, it's Biden's fault. Don't worry about the details. "Sleepy Joe" was such a bad president that gas prices STILL rise after he's out of the office, even with our Lord and Savior, Donald Trump and his party solidly in control of the United States.

It really shows the true incompetence of the Dems in that the country is such a wreck even years after they've lost control of the White House. I'm hoping that Trump is able to get a 3rd term in so he can get us back on track.
Here's hoping. :optimistic: :optimistic: :optimistic:

Liberals are mad. Do you not understand? $5 a gallon is worth the price to know that somewhere, someone who I differ with politically is bothered by what the President is doing. That’s what will make America great again!
You seem mad.

Americans should take this opportunity to walk and use a non-powered bicycle more.
See, MAHA in action! THANK YOU, PRESIDENT TRUMP!
Where I live it's very possible because I live in a very walkable bike friendly area where bike commutes are a thing. Unfortunately most of the United States is built for for automobiles and driving , if for some reason it was never taken account what if gasoline becomes prohibitally I
expensive or simply unavailable. We would be better off if we build our communities for people and not cars.

If its helps. Your consumption is close to only being 1/3 of the US one.

Man, talk about poorfags if the average household can afford so little.
I wish we had these prices. A liter diesel was up to €3 in March-April, that's $12 per gallon.
Depending on where you are the fuel taxes are anywhere from a third of a half of the end price you pay.

Even if you live in a total shithole state taxes here are far saner. Even the worst diesel one are less than a buck per gallon when you combine state and federal, and at 3.79 liters to the gallon you guys get hosed.

There’s probably books written explaining the history and psychology behind the difference in American and European mindsets on planning for transportation and why America is CARS and Europe is not. I mean there’s the fact that America was still being built when the car was invented, whereas Europe had to urbanize long ago upon horse and buggy and foot traffic. Plus the whole independence thing of traveling thousands of miles on your own, the push by the automobile industry to block public transportation for greed. Anyway point the idea of walking or biking sounds nice in a high trust society

We no longer live in a high trust society. Haven’t in a century at least.

I had some retards in USPG2 insist that gas prices are great and actually LOWER than they were before
I used to like the shitposts there for time to time, but still generally avoid interacting with much of the most typical niggers that are only active in that thread. Ever since this whole eyeran shit happened though, the place's just another thread for kikes (or kike-lovers) doing damage control with browns obnoxiously doom-pilling everyone outside of the eyeran-pizzrael war threads. Feel's like place that mossad agents go to subvert and tard wrangle their bioweapons turning against them.
