If she has NO PAIN from a fall, that is no longer Neuropathy. That's more like the blood flow is so restricted the area that should hurt is dying.

Neuropathy isn't numbness, it goes from tingling to outright agony of nerve pain. But never really 'well that didn't matter cause I can't feel it'. Which is a -really- bad sign.

Should she not be going septic about now if true? Then maybe that pain is the hole that is about to form.

That would make sense. Her body physically can't give blood to its self because it's so big, so parts of her dying isn't out of the question.

If the layyg pain is that bad, why couldn't she go to urgent care? She wouldn't need an appointment, and many of them have better hours than your typical doctor's office.

She's full of shit - she just wanted to throw Becky under the bus for going out to the pizza place instead of eating somewhere AL wanted to eat.

I long since considered it a possibility. She very likely could have that and be unaware. Once you start having the nerves die, you really don't know.

If you read Endurance, a book about Shackleton and his expedition, one of the crew members actually ends up with his toes becoming frostbitten, and they actually dried to a hardened mass and were cut off. Now keep in mind, they were in arctic conditions and thus it was naturally dry, but Hamber could legitimately have similiar situations with chunks of her flesh dying off from deprievation of blood etc, and thus nerves dying.

Except in her case, given she's sweating constantly, never bathed, and also defecating on her self and is unlikely to be aware she has her own urine soaking her skin..she's far more likely to go gangrene and have the septic stuff hit her blood stream and kill her that way.

Seriously Hamber? Go to a doctor, stop fucking denying this shit, or save your self alot of pain and swallow a bullet. You don't want to have flesh eating bacteria kill you. It's far far worse then any thing you can imagine. There is -no- medication to stop that sort of pain. They can chemically induce Coma, but really that doesn't stop the pain. It just stops us from knowing you feel it.

She better think long and hard about the future reality she is heading toward. You don't need to die to live in hell.

Her lack of self control and arrogant willful ignorance amazes me.

It just hit me that she could owe this doctor money.

Some places will let you make appointments if you agree to pay your overdue balance on the day of. If she made the appointment hoping to weasel her way out of it, or in a rare moment of clarity, but suddenly realized she didn't have the money, she'd have to cancel. A walkin clinic would still see her, but they usually put a bandaid on it until you can see a doctor properly.

That would make her a tremendous cheapskate. A doc visit and some routine bloodwork (which she probably didn't even have) is not that expensive. It's not like she owes thousands. If she owes that doc anything I'd be shocked if it cost more than her average Torrid haul.

Well sure, but that's on brand for Amber. Willing to waste money on bullshit, unwilling to spend money how she ought to.

My favorite part was when she basically said she looks up to servers. We fuckin know, gorl. They undoubtedly look down on you. I bet she's a 10% tipper at best.

But I mean Torrid hauls are way more important than getting your leg checked. She can still look cute while missing a leg!

I read Endurance over the summer and vividly remember that passage about cutting off the poor guy's toes being pretty hard to stomach. In the same spirit I then read a book about a disastrous Mt. Everest expedition, in which two climbers who were stranded on the same part of the upper mountain for the whole night suffered different fates: obviously one of them died, but the other one managed to survive through relentlessly waving his arms and legs around for hours in an effort to maintain blood flow. Which, in turn, makes me wonder...
For someone who has already reached Amber's size and apparent health complications, could regular exercise throughout the day (I'm talking lifting her layg up and down while sitting atop pillow mountain, nothing serious) help to restore circulation to her oxygen-starved extremities, or is she too far gone at this point? Of course, it would help her body in every way if she lost weight as a result of more exercise, but we all know she binges on more than she burns, so I'm asking about circulation and exercise independent of weight loss...

Her story doesn't make sense. How does she not have a ride to an appointment she made pretty much a week in advance? It's not like Becky works. Where the fuck was she?

So, AL either made the appointment and panicked because she doesn't want to hear the truth and she's great at blocking out any reality when it comes to her health (she's great at pretending everything is just fine) ... or she didn't make the appointment, lied about it, and knew all along she would find a way to weasel out of it. Neither is a good look and consistent with how she acts.

Let's be honest, though. Why should anyone care about her mental well-being when she can't even care enough about her physical well-being to get help? I think, deep down, AL realizes she's at the end-game here. You don't get to 600 lbs and think everything is fine. She can be in denial all she wants but that denial is built out of the truths she's too afraid to contemplate ... worse, though, is that I think she's too afraid to contemplate the truths because she has no desire to put in the work needed to overcome even half of what she's done to her body. She's weak and lazy.

Oh well. Her funeral - literally.

I never thought I'd actually see the day we use the book Endurance to explain a reason to not ignore leg pain. Another possibility? She has an abcess in her tissues and it's been getting worse over time.

She doesn't even have a subconscious method of knowing. She knows it on a conscious level. She does mental gymanstics to not say it, but all of those require an increasing awareness of her failing organs and body. She just won't admit to her situation because it would prove internet people right, her wrong, and then save her life.

Unless some one posting in his thread is killed by an outside source; IE a car or being shot. All of us will comfortably outlive Hamber because we are adults who see a doctor when we have failing organs.

He did a livestream about how horrible the dietitian is and how delicious it is that she was "exposed" (nevermind there are no receipts), encouraging his audience to "report her" (to regulatory bodies, I guess) and basically ruin her career.

He didn't use those exact words but he was going on and on and on about how she should be reported and shouldn't have her job etc. The comments on his vids are poppin' about reporting and messaging her and shit.
For fuck sake, I knew Micheal was an a-log but getting his legion of exceptionals attack a woman who they don't even know is the dietician in question. Even if this lady was, who the fuck cares? Leave her alone, dealing with AL is punishing enough

If I had the time or the skill I would make a thread on him.

She has untreated beetus and nothing she can do, except for treating it, will improve circulation.

Someone will, sooner or later, but I don't think he's interesting enough. He's just a pathetic hamplanet who makes coin from projecting his self-hatreds onto our gorl.

Agreed. He's not a lolcow yet, but he's on a dangerous trajectory to say the least.
