Not that Chris is going to raise the whole $5,000, or anything close... but if he did, I sorta dread to think about the figurative and probably also literal shitstorm that's gonna ensue when he finds out that Kickstarter funds are considered taxable income. Between that and the money he's earned from his commissions and other stuff, he'd owe around $400-500 in taxes, and I kinda doubt that the IRS is going to allow tax deductions on Lego sets for personal use.

Chris probably doesn't even know. I'm sure Barb doesn't tell Chris the seriousness of the situation, like how a parent wouldn't tell their small child that the family is about to go bankrupt and they're so close to living in a box under the freeway.

Anyway, about the kickstarter. I bet most of the people donating don't even intend on paying, just like the eBay auctions. At the last minute it won't reach the goal, Chris will tard rage, and the cycle will continue.
