This is a thread dedicated to discussing some of the more unusual exercises out there. Tire flipping, log throwing, and more- if your equipment is something other than the usual barbells and dumbbells, this is the thread for it.

Personally one of my favorite exercises is moving large boulders. Moving one of those fifty feet back and forth is an excellent full-body workout.

some of the work i do in the garden is probably good exercise, i don't do it for that reason though

stuff like digging with the shovel, carrying bags of earth up the stairs, and splitting wood with an axe (only very rarely, like once every few years)

Getting in and out of trenches that you're digging for drain or water lines, even when the trench itself is machine dug, certainly works a lot of muscle groups in ways you don't usually use. Don't know if it's useful but it leaves you sore in odd places. And the shoveling is good for upper body muscles that most people don't use day to day.

Your post makes you sound like you're a 60 year old white woman who joined a crossfit gym. It's not terrible for refining your current muscle but you aren't going to build muscle quickly doing high repetition/low load. If you've been lifting for a long time you will gain exactly negative-two gains from it. Muscle catabolism happens when you hit rare muscles you don't work out very often.

Just do woodworking and farmer carries nigga, lmao.
