The Whisperer arc in the walking dead is ungodly stupid because of one small detail that people forget to consider about zombies.

They are rotten bodies and rotten bodies are cesspools for diseases. So you mean to tell me the whisperers lived among walkers for years wearing leatherface styled walker masks that I absolutely doubt are in a proper state where they arent still decaying and the whisperers havent died off from getting sick from basic ass diseases from standing next moving rotting bodies for all this time?

That arc was retarded in both the comic and the TV show.

this is a series where you can walk around in zombie guts and they wont attack you because you smell like them. prior to the whisperers actually showing up people were beginning to speculate whether the walkers were actually beginning to speak or not. i think we can throw internal logic out in most cases

I'm surprised there wasn't a comic like Dr. Stone that was just an autistic guide to building the perfect sustainable society during a zombie apocalypse. I know most people watch zombie shit for the drama and the kills, but as someone who loved Dune for the water rationing, I would've enjoyed something like that.
