Unpopular Opinion About Everything - Rant about your controversial opinion on whatever. This is not Reddit, pineapple on pizza is not deep or funny.

as far as politics goes on the internet the generality i’ve noticed on sites like YouTube is that The Left is Evil and The Right is Retarded, if you go on YouTube and search for Left-Wing content you will often find people advocating for blatantly morally wrong things and advocating violence not just against the wealthy but anyone who disagrees with them even slightly, when you look up Right-Wing content on YouTube a lot of the content is either self-defeating or getting mad or blaming the wrong things like the Super Bowl half time show this year like who gives a flying fuck about football that has a above 85 iq or defending economic policy that either just lets companies continue to ruin national sovereignty or performative cruelty in response to woketards, if any of these people had political power themselves the country wouldn’t function badly but not at all
YouTube will not allow high quality and biting right wing content to any large degree. Even after they got a bit lax. So to be fair the only thing that is allowed to stay up and monetized is the milquetoast and non-threatening stuff. I also find that a lot of the best discussion in the right wing side of things tends to be text based. Forums or essays and blogs.

People need to stop taking their dogs everywhere. Your dog is not going to die if you leave it at home for an hour while you run errands. They need to accept the fact that not everyone likes dogs. There's nothing inherently wrong with disliking dogs. I say this as someone who absolutely adores animals and has been around them my entire life.

It's amazing how countless people let their dogs roam the streets freely to harass people, and only get away with it because no one in America actually walks anywhere.

Pretty much. Americans tend to be very selfish and irresponsible pet owners, so some neighborhoods look like they are straight out of a 3rd world country.

Its kinda a copout to say you hate crony capitalism instead of capitalism considering that "crony capitalism" is the end result of capitalism. Once you win over a market you are pushed by the system to do whatever it takes to make competition harder or even controlled. Big business having a diproportionate say over culture and the government is the end result of capitalism.

Even at the smaller level you see this with restaurants in towns and cities trying to ban food trucks and car dealerships trying to ban cars purchased directly from the manufacturer and abroad.

I'm torn with the AI art issue but I'm leaning towards AI favorability. It is under the impression that, I've paid for commissions before on some artists. The problem lies that, some artists really believe their work is worth sinking $100 ~ $500 ~ $1,000 over. I think they're the ones who're getting the most pissy about AI managing to be better than them because that'd mean that those artists have to find real jobs.

There are maybe some artists where maybe, the price might fit the bill. But largely, all of those artists wanting easy street money can get bent because AI is better than you, even with its flaws.

it depends and varies wildly. Prices of good art materials are ridiculous. You pay a few hundred dollars on stuff and you use it twice and then you have to rebuy it. And then it also takes forever to draw.

Obviously I've found one artist on the instagram and she would draw gigantic idk like 7 by 7 feet sketches of woman heads and they were fucking crooked xd and it also cost a shitton for a print.
I don't have strong opinion on the matter. Most of the time I see people using AI to generate graphics they'd otherwise do in paint or buy for 50$ or less for example youtube thumbnails. People aren't yet using AI to generate a painting to hang in the living room. So I'm not sure artists are losing significantly and they don't look like the most harmed group in the world.

I think that's where the line is really drawn. Traditionally made art pieces, there can be an argument made for the price. Digitally drawn art pieces, yeah that's where people are going to be picky-choosy in.

And digital artists tend to really play out that starving artist approach very thinly when it comes to things like this. In a shitty economy, nobody has that much money to pay $200+ for a piece from you that's done digitally. It's a luxury anyways.

Gravedancing over culture war shit is gay and childish. I wouldn't gravedance Chuck Norris or Charlie Kirk just like I wouldn't gravedance Rob Rainer or another lefty celebrity or random person.

Video essayists deserve to be mocked. There doesn't need to be 1000+ videos on how animal crossing made you discover a new fetish or how peppa pig changed your life nor how your switch made you not kill yourself. They should be told to get another job or go into the trades instead of serving their subpar videos that are just rambling anyways with no actual soul in them. They should be milked for laughs until there's nothing left but dust and bones.

I think people who preach about how expensive it is to have kids are full of shit. Honestly the biggest expensr when you break it down is healthcare...which is already expensive for everyone if youre an american. If you're in a developed country, then everything from clothes to toys to educational material can be found 2nd hand for cheap, and food doesnt have to be expensive either with smart shopping.

When you bring this up, people love to jump to images of welfare queens or white trash who neglect their kids, rather than actually discuss the point.

I must disagree, partially. It's definitely a little exaggerated (especially by certain individuals), but to claim its not expensive is a little silly to me. I mean, consider every single expense you personally have, you must buy food, you must buy medicine, you must pay for your water, you must pay for electricity, you must pay for heating / AC. Now double practically all of that. You're now spending almost double on food. You must now buy medicine for your child (and vaccines and other sorts of medical care). You must now pay for additional water as you must bathe your child and give them clean drinking water. Depending on how old the child is, you may now spend more money on the electricity bill in case they are into video-games, or really anything with a screen or light. Your child may also get cold or hot easier than you, requiring you to run the heat or the AC, which can cost a lot of money in the harsher seasons. All of this isn't even including things such as diapers, school supplies, supporting their extra-curricular activities, or just giving them money so they can go hang out with their friends or whatever else they may possibly want.

>Food
Buy bulk, its what smart shopper have been doing since forever, feed you and feed them. Only exception ill give you is formula for newborns being expensive
>Medicine
Like i said, expensive for everyone in burgerland
>Water/Electricity
Where tf do you live, the outback? This is the silly exaggeration im talking about. Again unless youre talking about newborns or something, they can deal with a normal A/C amount or use the non-electric ways of cooling off/warming up people have used for millenia. And a video game console isnt a fkn industrial machine, it doesnt take enough power to significantly matter to an electric bill.
>Diapers
Reusable bro, theyre not as bad as people say, even then you can find disposable in discount stores everywhere for around 10/15 cents a diaper if you really dont want to go that route.
>Extra sundries
Just dont buy funko pops, itll be fine

Última edición:
Apologies for the double post, but its occured to me, i think the reason people hold this opinion so highly is that kids have become so coddled that the perception is created that if you buy anything less than everything for kids, or force them to work within some kind of limitation, then its tantamount to abuse.

>Oh you dont want to buy dino nuggies and name brand lunchables for your kids? SO youre just going to let then starve?? Its literally food for kids! What else are they gonna eat?

>Oh you only bought 4 sets of clothes for your newborn? It doesnt matter if theyll grow out of it in 2 weeks, you NEED a closet full!

>Oh you arent blasting A/C or heat at twice your normal rate for some reason or you tell your kids to put on a long sleeve shirt when its cold out? Damn bro you must be neglecting your children! They're not allowed to face any kind of discomfort ever! Thats literally abuse bro!

Basically, 1st worldies have gotten so used to a post-scarcity society/have been subjected to unhealthy amount of corporate propaganda, that theyve lost the plot as to what is actually needed to raise happy, healthy, and intelligent children.

You are overlooking the cheapest and also the best option from a health standpoint for both the baby and the mother; nursing. No formula, no bottles, no nipple sterilizer, bottle bag, etc.

Disposable diapers in bulk in discount stores yes. Also, stocking up on diaper coupons. Diapers are not going to break the bank.

Unpopular on normie circles I'm not sure if most Kiwi Farmers would agree with this, but colonialism isn't inherently bad if it actually cares to integrate the people into a higher form of civilization and treat them as just any other part of the empire (see China, Russia (I understand it technically isn't classical but it still works) Rome and any other classical empire that actually cared about integrating their subjects instead of just extracting from them) I believe that if Europeans actually had actually tried to HEAVILY invest into their colonies during the second phase of colonialism then maybe independence may not have seem like a foregone conclusion.

You may say that they did try but honestly the fact of the matter is that if they had really done so most Indonesians would be speaking Dutch today and would had embraced European cultural and social values instead of rejecting them because they were segregated and marginalized.

-Be yourself is terrible advice

- "Trauma" is very overrated. When there is someone who is a mess people just assume they were touched or beaten as a kid. Half of the time is just neglect or sometimes the opposite they were coddled too much, most of the time they were just born that way, with a shitty personality. There are some people who went through some horrible shit and they are more functional and happier than most people.
I think a lot of lolcows are great examples there's no explanation for their shitty personality.

Anything over 55-60F is horrible. Especially in sunny weather. I don't know how people can stand summer. How are you having fun outside sweating in 90 degree solar Hell? Summer is the worst season. I dread it every year.
