I don't understand why it couldn't have just ended the fight if you got their health down past a certain point.

That is what happens when you fight Aqua and Seth, they just run away after hitting them enough. The fact that you have to solve the other couple pair's fights the non-violent way mostly just comes off to me like trannies on the staff didn't want their snowflake OCs Blue and Green getting hurt.

For Flowery, it just seems like Toby really wanted you to go through the whole process for drama and Ralsei's character arc. You technically do win the fight by the end by just beating Flowery's ass, but it requires getting to it being a 1-on-1 between him and Kris first.

Maybe he wouldn't realize it's Kris at first, but stops once he does.

This would imply that Asgore is worse at recognizing his own fucking son than Berdly is at recognizing Kris, unfortunately. There's really no way for an actual Asgore fight that makes sense, even if it's a total letdown not to have one. Kris is the complete wrong character to have a fight with Asgore in the first place.
It's just a shame that Toby Fox seems to be allergic to giving Asgore any sort of cool showing at all.

Why does almost every single fan design of the fallen humans make Blue a nigger? It was like that even before Chapter 5 made it official. Why always that one specifically? Is the idea of drawing a white ballerina just that horrifying to tumblrgroids?

In Old Norse the word blámaðr (blue men) is used to refer to niggers. To this day, if you wish to specify that a nigger is extra coal black, dark as the winter night, you can call him a blåneger (blue nigger).

I think Asgore looked really cool towards the end. Literally said to Flowery's face "I don't really care, I was just playing along to see what you knew, I have a life to get back to" after telling Kris how proud he is of him.

This kinda fell flat for me because the Soul isn't Kris.
Though at the very least, it was Asgore portrayed in at least a more neutral light than the fucking soul destroyer that is "Eggs-husband."

Trying to kill Yellow crashes the game, too. Would have been fun to execute him, just as he wanted, and see the blåneger flip his shit. It's not our fault Yellow is a fucking retard.

I think its to allude to this being the last true chapter. A remix what we like to call. Where beginnings meet their ends, and possibly where the game finally begins to take itself more seriously. Cause by Chapter 6/7...the chapters we weren't reminded until 3 years later from the original demo (where we only knew of chapters 1-5)...the truth begins to reveal itself....and the real Fun begins.

It makes some symbolic sense within the context of the chapter, since the whole Dark World is the flowers trying to make comfortable world for Asgore based on his past, the flowers themselves base their personalities off people Asgore knows or interests he has. Like they're trying to trap Asgore in a comfy nostalgia world, which is made manifest in a meta sense by making the world a remix of Chapter 1 with a lot of Undertale references.

My biggest problem with the six flower characters is that they just serve to be Undertale references. Their character designs literally only make any sense if you've fought Nightmare Flowey. An object turning into its darkner counterpart always has a logical through line except for them. Why would an orange flower turn into a mouse with a boxing glove? Why would different colored flowers symbolize different virtues? Uhhh because it's an Undertale reference. For as much shit as people give blue he's literally the only one with a flower motif in his design (still terrible). Them being "neither lightners nor darkners" is a cop out when they are functionally identical to darkners in every way we've seen.

I do not believe any of them other than Flowery were designed by Toby he was probably too busy beating his meat to his yuri fanfiction to write anything else for this chapter.
