Let me do a comparison with the best character:
Cyan is an energetic gremlin that wants to have fun, she doesn't feel bad because she synergizes well with people around.
Her character is an overused trope, but one that has an easy time bouncing alognside other characters, including the players
All the funny bits with yellow are Susie and Ralsei reacting to him.
To be fair, Toby must have noticed she was a winner and is why she got the most exposure of them all. I mean Yellow is like my third favorite but 4th is green who has some good moments here and there, 5th orange which is a less funny one note, and 6th the faggot. Seth gets 2 due to exposure more than anything.
Thinking about Flowery, its just me or his fight feels somehow incomplete? As if tony cut out a big section of it?
You see him summon your recruits on his side, and when you start using ACTs, you see 3 of your recruits aiding for a second, only for Flowery to counter by sparing them and putting a mercy bar on Susie and Ralsei.
I feel like the fight should have lasted longer to count all recruits, and only then include the remaining 6 flowers and omega flowery.
If so, I kinda hate toby for not giving us the full thing, really that final boss was the best part of the chapter (until you're remembered that tutu-wearing niggerfaggots exists).
Finished the chapter and have to agree. it was great but I was expecting a mercy mechanic from Flowery winning if he got us to 100. Green did fuck all and the blue yellow segment felt underbaked.

Asgore was a fucking letdown in every shape and form. Told us fuck all, did fuck all and achieved fuck all. What a pathetic faggot christ.

Though Flowery pursuing the knight was hype as fuck and was a good end for the arc. I do feel we are missing something about why Raisei is such a faggot to Flowery. We are suspicious as players since we think of Flowey, but Ralsei was hostile from the first second. Speaking of Ralsei, I expected him to flip out but nothing fue to his earlier threat.

As for the rest of the ending. Seems pretty retarded that Sussie's lets talk to somebody else is just fucking Noelle, was hoping for an adult. I did like how it implies that Sussie's life is so miserable that she rather live in a perpetual fantasy in the school closet.

But yeah, chapter has moments but whole lot of nothing at the end of it. Maybe it requires datamining and other sort of extra effort to get the sauce, but I thought the idea is you play the game and get the story while the external stuff gives you foreshadowing.

Also, question to the thread without spoilers please. Is the weird route worth playing? And does it have an "end" in chapter 5? Or is it also a wet fart. A part of me wants to play it but chapter 5 left me pretty underwhelmed, specially compared to 4, so I'm not burning with desire to play through the game unless I can expect a good payoff.

Personally, I'm more hopeful for the idea that the WR ends with us basically being Sans trying to break free of a set future, and Susie being the aggressor desperate to get "fate" back on track.
Reminds me of Sans's boss fight where he has that line at the start saying "Our reports", meaning multiple people. That could be where this is going.

I thought orange was a super adorable character for OBVIOUS reasons. The shadow puppetry and small rat syndrome and crybullying were so good. Orange best best. I feel like some of you are boiling over quite a bit and the angry ranting is crazy but i understand the sentiment of too much gay shit. I fully am on board with Kris and Noelle being the knight as an amalgamate and some weird loop going on. Essentially a twisted form of their eternal love etc etc. I do have hope for the future chapters
I knew you'd like Orange. She was just trying her best, and didn't seem like someone's self-insert.

We all know what's gonna happen here at the end: Deltarune eventually ends up looping back around to Undertale for it is all but an anagram of what happened to the monsters and humans. The route that is advised to us is the game's intended route...but perhaps the weird route is indeed...the true route all along?

Like just to rip the bandaid off, it's a soft "end" in Chapter 5 because it flat out tells you to wait for Chapter 7 before it continues. As for whether or not you should play it, yes. Absolutely. There's certain parts that I played through that genuinely made my jaw drop. It's so good that I don't really care about any of the BS that happened in Chapter 5, fags and trannies and whatever else included, that I am still all like 99% certain that he'll make the wait worth it.

I'm interested to know what happens to all the players once they realize Kris, Noelle and the SOUL fucked off somewhere else. They won't be able to close down fountains for an entire chapter, at least in the WR.

Última edición:
So he runs a publicly traded company? All the copyright informations says that Deltarune is a trademark of Toby Fox (2018-2026). I see no companies attached, let alone publicly traded ones.
Well, I meant that Toby now is working for Nintendo so he has rules to follow and dates to keep in mind with the releases, hence why he's speeding up.

The thing is that if you don't do any of the ARG stuff, you're missing out a lot of info. Noelle's character makes much more sense with the ARG stuff. Otherwise, she seems (even more) deranged and swingy.

No-one can stop the Knight from spamming Fountains which means the Titans fully awake and the endgame begins, hence why it skips to Chapter 7.

User name checks out.

I genuinely can't believe how many brainlets there are who think that they literally just killed themselves.
Ignoring the fact that would just result in a reset, the "suicide" option is just not pressing any inputs and allowing Noelle and Kris to "die" which just ends with them back where they should be.
Or at least that's the theory I'm going with.
Oh.
Oh I think I have something here.
Going off of the "Noelle and Kris can't die because of their role in the prophecy" gives us a reason for why Kris can operate without a soul. Because he literally can't fucking die, even if the act of tearing out the soul is agonizing and it should kill him immediately. (And no, Gameovers don't fucking count)

You know the more i think about it, the more i am buying into the Schizo Evil Susie Theory.
Since chapter 4 i had the gut feeling that whatever happens in the future that is related to the prophecy, Susie was gonna do something BAD, like, fuck it up hard that it affects everyone. She has blood on her hands, literally at the end of Chapter 4 after breaking the prophecy. Is it due to her breaking the prophecy or is it a self fullfiling thing, where when trying to diverge it it ends happening anyway? I don't know, but Symbol of the chud's ramblings made me think of that scene and everything, even if Tricky Tony does another left turn that undermines it.

I'm guessing the whole "Ralsei is totally trans you guys" bullshit is just autogynephiles projecting onto a fictional character again. The blue and pink drink? It's just tropical, like Tropical Starwalker.

Flowery calling him a princess? That was clearly done to get on his nerves. The dress scene? That easy to miss optional scene is clearly just a joke. And, as it turns out, Asgore refers to him as male in the Japanese translation, which Toby Fox himself oversees and gave the okay on.
Leave the fluffy boy alone dammit

Flowery calls all of the fun gang princess, iirc

The entirety of trannies online can be summed up as 'does whatever they can to project on a fictional character and if you dare say anything against it you're *phobic.'

My main hope for the next two chapters is that the difficulty picks up and the reliance on gimmicks begins to lessen or just stop. I started a new file for Chapter 5, used to play on a different system, didn't care enough to replay everything, so I didn't have any of the busted gear, and it was still very easy.

I really can't remember any of the enemy encounters, none really stuck out as difficult and they eventually got annoying because of how many there were. I can see why the cut the Mantis and Terracotta Archer. None of them are really combined in interesting ways either, at least that I remember. I don't think the Terracotta Soldier got paired with anything, which is a shame since he has some of the more interesting patterns.

Flower bosses are a mixed bag. My favorite was probably Aqua and Seth. The gimmick of them spamming your worst attack was actually really fun. Intentionally getting hit by the rubber ducky to force them to use it again was really clever. Orange and Green are okay. Orange only uses one attack, which is pretty simple to dodge, so there's not a ton of danger in missing the food Green throws. Blue and Yellow kinda sucks. Not a big fan of the trial system at all. Especially the second one with Green. I understand it's supposed to be so stupid to the point of being confusing, but still. They only have one difficult attack, the one with the bullet following the line, so messing up isn't that punishing.

I think the 2D combat sections aren't worth mentioning, you can't really die on them. So just face tank all the damage and spam attacks, heal at the inevitable save point later.

I've heard people say Mad Mew Mew is the hardest boss in the game. I don't know who these people are. Mew Mew is a weird fight, she has ONE difficult attack, the bomb one. But everything else is pretty simple, so once you learn the bomb attack and are able to identify the safe spots, you win. Ironically, the fight gets easier the further in you get, since she replaces her bomb attack with the BIG BOMB attack... Which is way easier to dodge. Also there's healing all over the fight, so you can afford to get clipped once or twice, and not have to use and item or Ralsei to heal.

Flowery is okay? Orange soul was pretty underwhelming, you just press the button when you see something blue. It's a shame since the first half of the fight has to be relegated to being a tutorial for the new soul gimmick. By the end of the fight, Flowery starts to get some interesting attacks, but the fight ends before it can actually get challenging. Trading difficulty out of a scripted sequence at the end. What a shame.

Especially now that we got the flower items, the difficulty better start picking up in Chapter 6 and 7. Seriously, some of those items are absolutely busted, I really hope the next chapters are balanced around you having them, rather than staying at the difficulty it is now.
