Trying to no-hit Mew Mew has made the song and the character grown on me. It's probably the most interesting part of the chapter for me.
It's also really fucking hard.
I did the secret boss before the final one in this chapter. Mew Mew took a lot of items from me, but I managed to beat her on my first try. Flowery on the other hand, despite me restocking, took me like 4 tries to figure out the best way to deal with his attack patterns. So is the opitonal boss easier than the real boss, or was it just me? They are definitely easier than the Knight and Gerson, that's for sure. I'd argue that Flowery is a bit harder than the Titan, who had some nasty attacks, from what I remember.
Clearly Kris was always meant to be the Prince from the Dark and as a result the prophecy is mindraping Ralsei into trooning out for stealing his role.
Fear the almighty prophecy that makes people lesbians and trannies for trying to fight fate.
There were these mantis ladies and a bow-wielding variant of the Terekota enemy on the second floor of the diner in the castle at the very end of the chapter. I wonder if they were cut enemies.
More evidence why I believe Rudy is the knight after chapter 5. I think a lot of people overlook what's going on in the Weird Route with Rudy. Only him and Sans are in town and for season reason, he is still putting up lights despite the festival being over. His model looks like he's breathing heavy and winded.
I really think he was stalling, waiting for Kris to open the dark fountain. I do believe his fall was real, probably happened right after this.
I had to question myself, why did the Roaring Knight show up late AGAIN? And the big question. Why didn't the Roaring Knight start a fight? Why did it grab Asgore and run? It knows that it can beat the Fun Gang, and if things get bad, Kris is on its side. Why run? It's cause it's injured from the fall and just needs to get in and out before it's overwhelmed, maybe before the ability runs out.
Somehow, in some way, that one image really put something into context for me. Deltarune, as we all know, is heavily inspired by Earthbound. If we're to say that Kris is a stand in for Ness as a protagonist, and Noelle is a stand in for Paula (with Birdley presumably being a stand-in for Jeff), it wouldn't make sense for Susie to be a comparable character to Poo, since their personalities are very different.
But you know whose personality matches Susie's? Porky. Who is Gigyas' right hand man? Porky. Maybe a nothing burger, but an interesting comparison.
Call me a [WING-DING$] but I am holding out hope that [the P00ch] Tony can successfully subvert our expectations and flip the script on us.
1) In castletown, doing the climbing minigame has Rulezkard come out of the Curtain with Ralsei in a dress.

3)The cutscene where Flowery is asking If Ralsei wants the Pink and Blue Kris Coupon or the Susie colored one. He wants the Tranny colored one of course. Ignore the fact that he's choosing the Kris colored coupon.

We don't see him use it, but that scouter he wears isn't for reading our power levels, it actually contains the action replay he brings everywhere incase he ever needs it.

I wonder what's that supposed to mean
Asgore mentions the seven flowers were meant to be a bouquet for Toriel, possibly as a proposal offering? I think it's likely Asgore and Toriel were dating in college, and Asgore mentions talking to his flowers and reading them stories. Flowery probably remembers all those happy memories Asgore shared with him during his college days, which is why Flowery models himself after a charming, preppy college student and tries to take Asgore on picnics, skateboarding, and going to the diner; it's even in the lyrics to Flower Man when you fight Flowery at the end: "Could I do something to make him laugh?"
Asgore probably realizes this on some level, but he's an adult now, and too preoccupied by his responsibilities and obsessions in the Light World. Notice how Asgore steers the conversation towards the Dark Fountain during the picnic scene; as soon as Asgore gets to the Flower Castle his demeanor totally changes. He goes right back into "adult mode" and starts frantically gathering his conspiracy notes in order. He puts on his armor and throws Kris and Susie out of the Dark World, probably because Asgore knows the Knight is coming and is preparing for battle. Only at the end when he sees Kris in danger does Asgore come to his senses and leave the Dark World of make-believe behind in order to focus on his family back in reality. Someone has to take care of his flowers, after all.
One thing did stand out to me during that ending scene: when you talk to Asgore just before you seal the fountain and ask about Ralsei, he says this:
At first I thought it was just because Ralsei was wearing his hat again, but then I remembered this exchange from Chapter 4:
And Ralsei definitely had his hat off for that chapter, so is there some unspecified quality about Ralsei that allows other Lightners to tell him apart as a Darkner? Maybe I'm reading too much into this, but it could have implications for something going forward.
