kris actually cares more about Susie, and gives 0 shits about noelle.
Provably untrue.
Kris and Noelle's relationship is complicated, and they were extraordinarily close in their youth.
Whatever went down with Dess ended up driving a wedge inbetween the two, and it's clear they do still care for each other in an awkward as fuck way. Hell one of the things Kris does in the Weird Route is go out of his way to revert what you did to Noelle and try to convince her it's all OK (While without a soul, so literally fucking dying). I think what's happened is that Kris, the original Kris, with a soul of his own, was meant to be the one who loved "The Girl" in this case, Noelle, but some bullshit occurred that fucked up the entire prophecy already and all sorts of shit is being shuffled about.

I just realized how none of the flowers aside of Aqua matches their fight theme.
Yeah, now that you mention it, this just adds more fuel to the "Toby Fox didn't actually design any of these characters" fire. I can only imagine that they were supposed to have unique themes for each encounter, but the themes Toby (or one of the troonsquad) ended up making were liquid shit so he just compromised on using Aqua's fight theme for all of them.

I actually had this cool idea for a Knight rematch, this is based on the fact that Flowery actually traps the Knight in a battle using two Floradinn. What if your Castle Town came together to help defeat the Knight by trying to keep forcing it into battles? Then it turns out you only have a limited amount of time to defeat the Knight, but the more recuits you have the more time you have to stop the Knight, whereas if you have less recruits you have less turns, but you're strong enough that it's still possible to defeat the Knight in that shorter timeframe, just that you've got less room for error. IIRC your stats go up whenever you lose a recruit.

Provably untrue.
I'm basing my opinion out of this:

Toby should have made them yokai themed, fullstop.
No weird ass negro dancer, no fucking retard gay woody and absolutely no gender blob chef.
Then, at the end of the chapter, put any of Alphys mangas that she gifted to Asgore at very fucking center of the room, complete with a stab mark, just to explain why the fuck the whole thing was japanese themed.
Also, looking back more at the whole thing with Asgore, really fucking stupid the message that a fucking cop doesn't do his job.
He was a policemen chief, and solving the case involving the dark fountain has been his goal for years, really fucked up that toby tries to tell us he did the wrong thing.

I'm honestly surprised more people aren't talking about how Asriel's absence is literally just ignored and blown off despite all the buildup and it being mentioned that he was gonna come home for the festival. I'd like to be :optimistic: and think there's a plot reason for why or there's gonna be some big reveal to explain why but at this point I have 0 faith in all honesty.
If you want my personal theory I genuinely think Toby and or his tranny ghost writers just fucking forgot and it was too late to go back and change things so they threw in that one line about surprising Asriel at his dorm and called it a day.

I'm basing my opinion out of this:
IDK if you should do that. It's clear that whatever happened in the past drove Noelle and Kris away from each other somewhat.
Also that 400HP thing feels like a deliberate weird mindfuck is definitely happening to Noelle. Susie, who really likes everyone, gets 120hp from it.
The more interesting thing about the teas are the character reactions

For Kris drinking Noelle tea it's:
S: (...do they like it?)
R: (They're drinking it...)
N: (Umm, do they like it or not...?

And Noelle's reaction to Kris tea is:
Tastes like cinnamon! (What is this aftertaste...?)

Also I feel like Kris' actions in the Festival could have possibly changed the values. Even though Tea is unobtainable post chapter 2, that very table mentions that telling Ralsei it's OK not to smile changes his value from Ralsei tea from 60 to 100.

Castle Town is totally going to disappear. There's the implication that we can't have ANY Fountain remain.

He was a policemen chief, and solving the case involving the dark fountain has been his goal for years, really fucked up that toby tries to tell us he did the wrong thing.
Because leftards still hate cops since 2020, duh.
Poor Asgore didn't even get a proper fight, kek.

I don't believe Toby designs and writes everything "because he thinks it's cool", as he claims to. It's been obvious since the very beginning he caters to the online zoomer "game theorist" and shipper/artist communities, as well as his Nintendo overlords

I think I realize why the Chapter is (diagetically) Japan themed.
It's because the fountain was opened when there was a random weeaboo Japanese festival going on outside.
It's stupid but there's a half-assed reason for it.
I could honestly see Toby pulling a stunt similar to what Yacht Club Games did with Reize in Specter of Torment. Taking the original character, looking at specific criteria the creator had written for them, and then completely flipping it to create a mockery out of it (but apparently he's okay with it now? Coping mechanism?)

Seizui, Reize's designer, has a whole site of characteristics, artwork and other information for him that I can only describe as "profoundly autistic" and includes things like mentioning how he's a naive kid who's against killing and can even resist corruption to some degree. The moment he shows up in SoT, he's immediately corrupted by the Enchantress, becomes extremely chuuni, threatens to kill Specter Knight, and his corruption-drunk body ends up being the final boss of the campaign.
That's actually fucking hilarious ...although it turns out that he's from Valdis Story?!
I really wanted to like that game but the mandatory speedrun challenges were an absolute bitch because the sprint controls required you to double-tap the d-pad and couldn't be rebound.
Someone could probably fix it now thanks to UndertaleModTool.
Also, looking back more at the whole thing with Asgore, really fucking stupid the message that a fucking cop doesn't do his job.

IMO it's even worse.
Asgore was wrongfully accused of a crime that completely fucked up his life and ability to provide for his family.
He was determined for YEARS to clear his name.
The moral is that Asgore should've just shut up and accepted his unjust punishment.
Can you imagine this happening to ANY OTHER character? Even Berdly.

About 3/5ths of the way through chapter 3 currently, if ch 5 is significantly worse than this I might not be able to sit through it because this is insufferable.

The 8th one interests me, since she seemingly comes upon some kind of light, deep in the water
Some guy said that while undertale is born out of the darkness of a cave system, deltarune is born out of the darkness of the ocean. With "le insert chapter" bs at the end and it getting brighter, it's obviously going to be some meta shit.
How the power of friendship, hopes and dreams WILL NOT solve the crisis at hand.
That was literally the conclusion in chapter 1 before Toby started taking estrogen.

I think it was meant to be a little break from the serious and exposition-heavy chapter 4.
Every chapter except from 4 has been a break from exposition. Out of 5 chapters 4 of them are "chill fun story light", meanwhile the story is 70% done and we know fuckall.
Considering how young Noelle looks in the 10 years anniversary, I think Dess is actually dead, and that caused Rudy to live longer due to how monster aging works.
How does monger aging work?

Asgore is the closest thing to a straight white male, and a cop. Obviously he's going to be sodomized in every way possible.
Asriel might be dead by the time of the game, regardless of plot fuckery and if he is, he counts too.

hat was literally the conclusion in chapter 1 before Toby started taking estrogen.
Kinda funny how Chapter 5 is such a blatant recycling. Maybe he was out of time and he had to release something so he had the chapter full of filler because he still doesn't know how to end the story?
I also like how escapism is bad doesn't apply to Susie because "muh bad home", derp.
Double-standards everyone?
Speaking of: If you try to reject her, Kris leaves, picks a baloon, and then removes control from the player so that you can't escape the friendzoning. At least it goes slightly faster so I guess it helps for a replay?

How does monger aging work?
Children grow up as the parents age and get older, until the parent dies of old age. Don't ask how it works if there are multiple children or children born later.
I don't think this rule applies anymore in DRune though, seeing they lost most of their magic and became quite normal.

Rudy's "chill guy" shtick is totally a cover for how utterly furious he was/still is about Dess's disappearance. I'm guessing he entered into some sort of deal to become the Knight (so he can create dark worlds to search for her) and the power is slowly.killing him.
Seeing as how flowery is Asgore's "college roommate" and "best friend" just like Rudy is in the light world, I did have the thought that the two of them clashing at the end could have had some vague theme about it.
