I haven't seen it mentioned in the thread, but I might've just missed it; there's a Tropical Starwalker if you do some backtracking in the dark garden part of the chapter (to get a pink coin for the secret boss + loot). He's also pink and blue.

My assumption was that the voucher Flowery hands Ralsei was simply for tropical juice, much like how orange juice in this world is just "juice made by Orange" instead of the actual beverage.
How is the Light World not in the midst of a civilizational collapse with everyone being a fag and no one reproducing?

Última edición:
Noelle in the Weird Route: "Oh thank fucking Christmas, you've managed to liberate me from the dogshit yuri plotline that I've been forced onto, and now I can finally experience freedom. Let's boundary break together, Kris, and see what's on the other side of this fucking lake."
The "Intended Fanbase" Reaction: "OH MY GOD THIS WAS THE MOST EVIL AND VILE THING THAT TOBY HAS EVER WRITTEN I GENUINELY CANNOT BELIEVE HOW SORRY AND AWFUL AND BAD I FEEL ABOUT DOING THAT :(((((("
What the fuck?
Considering the alternative is Chapter fucking 5 with the prophecy starting to actively mindrape people into being gay abruptly while Kris sadly watches from the sidelines, how could they not see that as an improvement?
Perhaps the niggerhell of Robert Fox is a niggerhell of his own creation?

He wants the pink and blue voucher (kris colors) and not the purple and yellow voucher (susie colors)

I really love how these were done, I could watch a couple of hours of Noelle going insane. It's honestly amazing how better and more interesting Noelle is when she is not attached to Susie. It's like an entirely different character.
Something I don't think people who haven't seen this route get is that Noelle all but spells out that everything she's doing in the normal route is a coping mechanism for being completely hollow inside. I have a feeling she's only attracted to Susie because she sees her as dangerous and has suicidal tendencies. Notice how she's obsessed with all the ways Susie can hurt her, but doesn't seem to actually know anything about her as a person. Once she realizes Susie is actually a nice person, the relationship is going to crash and burn.
Call me optimistic, but this chapter feels like a setup for a massive shitshow from either Kris, Susie, and/or Noelle once they realize they don't understand each other at all. Kris is actually working with The Knight, Noelle is a husk who wants to end it all, and Susie just wants the truth (but is being lied to by literally everyone besides Berdly).

It really is a shame that Berdly is not gonna have any impact on the story from now, and it's not just because of me playing a Berdly avatar for months now

You'd think that if he's the only character who ever got killed off, he would actually have more of a role where his dissparance actually impacted the story, but it's the exact opposite. What was the point of ever setting him up for any character growth and revealing his backstory if you're gonna cuck him out of the story repeatedly by either him being busy, getting injured, dead, or just not doing anything in particular. It's like Toby Fox included him in the festival just because he had already set it up with chapter 4 phone call, but had no idea what to do with him so he's just kinda there like any other NPC. I even wrote him down as "King" in the festival section, and Queen as "Queen", but the characters only reacted to the "Queen" part, not even mentioning how I put Berdly as king.

It just more shows how Toby Fox didn't have it all planed out and even he had no idea what role Berdly would have on the story beyond Chapter 2, so he just kinda put him there.

Like... You put the chracater in the story yourself, set him up for character growth, revealed his backstory, and have him be an important character for the Weird Route, but then completly waste it and not explore him at all?

Bravo, Fox

honestly i dont think that this was appropriate for noelle to say to kris :(

I've generally come to notice that anyone you can't KO, let alone hurt, is usually someone's OC. Like those DJ dudes from Chapter 2. The dog checker piece at least made sense as someone you couldn't hurt too.
So the only flower designs in Chapter 5 Toby was responsible for were Aqua, Seth and Flowery?
Man that explains a lot.

What's the consensus on CH5? the tidbits i have seen in this thread is not...boding well. Anyhow, the secret bosses have such insane difficult spikes. They almost feel like you're playing a UT fangame boss sometimes. Anyhow

The secret boss isn't the fucking Hatsune miku bootleg from UT switch...no?

Lots of cool stuff this chapter! And even more not cool stuff! I was really excited for this chapter, even pushing past the Suselle stuff that was eye-roll-worthy, but by the last third of the Dark World I got completely demoralized. Seeing the scene where they canonized Trans-Ralsei is the moment where the collective bullshit outweighed the fun I was having. Finding out Purple (yes I'm dead naming the flower) was supposed to be an enby was tragic. Seeing the part where Mew Mew starts talking in pink and blue made me go "are you fucking serious." And then Asgore does nothing, refuses to elaborate, and leaves gets kidnapped.

The platforming gimmick and Starwalker are the two bright spots in this chapter. The rest of it is Pissing me off...

Something I've been thinking about, is the 2D platforming even that cool? The novelty ran out extremely fast for me. It's incredibly simple, ACTing is kinda cool, but gets annoying having to do it every single time you need to make a platform, total flow breaker. The combat sections are so easy you can basically just facetank most the damage and ignore actually dodging, stuff just does so little damage. Those sections using the Weather Duo's theme is really lame too. Also there being no regular enemy encounters in that state sucks, it just puts you into the regular battle system.

It feels like a shameless ripoff of what Super Paper Mario did, but 10 times less cool with no time to flesh out the mechanic. I really can't think of any clever uses for the 2D sections. I really like 2D platformers, this just it just felt barebones. This is development time that could of gone into the rest of the chapter or making the Mad Mew Mew more than a handful of attacks. The game has been moving further and further from the actual RPG/Bullet Hell gameplay I actually like in order to do some new gimmick every five seconds and I hate it.

Okay, but why do you desire to harm the Steven Universe flower creatures? As per the gospel of Science and Media Literacy, they're impeccable because some of them are queer, and therefore the player should never harm any of them. Don't you know that you're being -ist and -phobic in reality if you do that, chud?
I wanted to kill them more than any other characters in the game.

Apparently the menu refers to Ralsei as "they" at the end of the chapter. He is raped.
