I did find it a bit overbearing on occasions, and that's with me finding finding patterns enjoyable. Did we really have to namedrop Omega Flowey? (don't think that this spoils much?)
The key jingling over those 2 is so blatant from Tricky Tony's part I'm not even excited over getting to see them since it's probably just gonna be 2 lines of text from them as an epic subversion of expectations.

Oh my GOD that was a total piece of shit chapter, especially when it kept referencing way more interesting things that were going on to do nothing with them.
I felt like I was gonna lose my MIND if I read through one more generic suselleslop moment where Kris is awkwardly the third wheel, or another shitty combat gimmick, the platformer sectiosn were kino as fuck though, but the inferno of jealousy didn't even actually happen after the entire chatper was spent alluding to how Ralsei was stronger than he actually seemed (called that since the ch2 days) and NOTHING about the main plot was expanded on, they don't even really expand on why Ralsei fucking despises Flowery on sight or the humongous glaring question of why a DARK world has a sun that even Susie calls attention to. (It was cool to see him actually have a backbone this chapter, though) Like always, Ralsei and Susie's dynamic carried the chapter, I was dying laughing at them trying to stop that shitty cowboy oc from killing himself. You can TELL how he and the blue dancing troon were not even remotely designed by Toby compared to Aqua and Seth, who were notably the only good characters here (shame they're dead For Real), and the chapter by chapter release structure constantly screws over this game because it just keeps giving everybody time to imagine something way cooler happening everytime. Also, now I know that 4/10 flower tenna knockoff is gonna get a shit ton of fanart drowning the results for Deltarune images.
Here is my prediction for chapter 6: Kris keeps getting cucked so hard that he starts doing things alone. At the end of the chapter, he has some big confrontation with Susie and Noelle, leading to him going alone to the lake. He submerges all by himself, thus beginning chapter 7-A.

The more I think about it, the more annoyed I get. Why even bother having the Knight show up if they're only going to be there for a minute. Things are supposed to escalate from chapter to chapter, not go backwards.
